On current form you'd think not but we do prefer being underdogs and England and Ireland both come to Cardiff this season.

They "won" a match there they didn't deserve to win, a draw would have been a fair result (not sure how they can celebrate after such a bad performance). Play like that in the Six Nations and they will be annihilated.

Wales have been very poor in this second half and the atmosphere is completely dead not surprisingly.”

Totally agree guys its frustrating for the fans and I feel some sympathy for the players who can perform as well as they can while theyre on the same field as talentless goons who f up our moves and ship possession.

I dont want to see some of that team again but sadly I think I will.

We will more than likely have our first choice front row, back row and half backs in the team for the 6nations.The grand old competition has given many favourite teams a bloody nose in the past so we will see. We also beat an Argentina side last week who had thrashed Japan in the game before. The rollercoaster ride of being a Welsh rugby supporter continues.

Now for Scotland v Argentina and round two of Ireland v New Zealand. All Blacks with a few first choice players back who missed Chicago will probably edge this one.

New Zealand score a try after two minutes

I can see New Zealand running riot in this match as they look like they mean business

Ireland come straight back though and put NZ under ferocious pressure : this could be a real classic.

The last two games between these two have been extremely close (-2 pts and +4pts) so perhaps more of the same tonight.

Very bad decision from the TMO there, that looked a dodgy grounding.

Not sure that's grounded, although surely the fact that Sexton's grabbing him round the neck means it's a penalty try?

Commentators seem to be baying for a red card for NZ as the Irish player was injured. It was a clash of heads that caused the injury and the All Blacks player did use his arms in the tackle.
Try grounding goes to TMO after a great effort to get his hand under the ball from Sexton.

Ball is grounded.

3-14,15mins?

TMO made an absolute mess of that. If it's 50-50 or very unclear, you've no choice but to disallow the try (which is why the ref kept asking "Are you sure the ball was grounded?")

The commentary on Sky is hilariously biased.

It was grounded..The crowd were noisy about Sexton's arm being under the ball after Barrett had grounded it.

Yep. You could tell the referee wasn't convinced at all, but in that case he has to disallow it.

The ref was watching on the screens and could see for himself but the TMO overruled him : I think there was a simliar ridiculous TMO decision in the Eng - SA game.

I politely disagree gents. The ball was clearly rolling on the floor with Barrett in control of it before Sexton turned and got his arm under. Seen better from the second camera angle.

A potential route back in for Ireland now as NZ scrum half gets yellowed.

We can add Scotland to Wales not totally deserving a last gasp win today as they beat Argentina with a pen as the last kick of the game, 19-16.

Does show the TMO isn't always perfect I guess which I think would cause issues in football..

NZ are hugely flattered by this scoreline : Ireland had them under the cosh for the first 20 minutes of this half (I think they had over 80% possession during that period)

Ireland's inability to score a try is hurting them though. I'd love to see the possession stats for this half, the Irish have thrown everything at them but come up against ferocious defence.

67% possession for Ireland and 69% territory but no tries crucially. Overall though, they're going in the right direction.

It's a shame the All Blacks don't visit Twickenham this time around, would have been a useful barometer of where an improved England are in relation to them at the moment.

Italy beating South Africa is fantastic news for northern hemisphere rugby. With Wales being quite poor and Scotland improving, France being anyone's guess it means that the Six Nations should be good. But it does seem like a two horse race between Ireland and England. The wooden spoon on the other hand...

I'm not sure how much of a barometer Autumn games are for the upcoming 6 nations.
Back in 2012 when Gatland had his previous time off from Wales to prepare as coach for a Lions tour,Wales lost all four Autumn series games. This led to us being in the same World Cup group as Australia and England as the draw was based on the world rankings at that time.

In the 6nations that followed, we lost the first game at home to Ireland then won the next four.Including the record win over England to take the title on points difference. On current form, the Lions party will have a majority English and Irish. The media will also be telling us that so it's bound to fire up Welsh and Scottish players in the 2017 six nations.
