While he had a few shaky moments today I'd like to see Mike Brown tour. Care played himself off the plane tbh and Phillips was massive today. Murray had great tournament too tbf.

He's too good to leave out. Hasn't set the world alight in 6n but he's still the best 13 and almost certainly tour captain
I hope they pick hte captain on form and not a priori.

It isn't though, it grips some of the country because they are intensely nationalistic but others just see it as the spud molesting contest that it really is. The only sport close to being as bad is American football.
I hope you're not a soccer fan:yawn::sleep::sleep::sleep:

Heaslip ahead of Faletau? Oh please God no!
Heaslip has been key for Leinster in their 3 Heineken Cup winning teams, both him and Faletau will be in the squad without a doubt, who starts is a tough choice.

Who the hell would argue with BOD as a tour captain? Serious leader and would definitely command the most respect

Never heard of soccer. I hope it is not another of those games where 10% of the time is spent getting blokes into the right position to sniff each others arses.

Probably because Wales have bugger all chance of winning the World Cup
Oh I quite agree. They may well be beaten and humiliated... perhaps England, after today's match, can offer some advice on dealing with monumental defeat

Perhaps because I incline more towards the original Australian cricket idea of picking your best XI then choosing a captain.
Would you pick BOD ahead of the Welsh team that you are currently espousing?
Pretty sure there are many players from all nations who command respect!

BOD will be tour captain. If he doesn't make team a test captain will be designated

Yeah I'd have him 13, Tuilagi 12

Wow that was quite a rout.
Not really a surprise, only the margin. England have looked very average in this Six Nations and could have lost two or three matches rather than being in contention to win the Grand Slam on the last day.

I'm not going to bother debating some of the short term memory Lions picks here

Not sure it is too important.

I listened to the commentary and it is drone drone drone, kick the ball out of play.

Then all of a sudden the crumb has collapsed because somebodies nose is not wedged farly up someone elses ringpiece.

No wonder it is a game from public school for snobs.

In fairness it's a while yet but England shouldn't be too far away from a slam next year. They have a brilliant record v France in 6n and have Irl and Wales at home. The problem is Murrayfield is never easy and they are going to lose to Italy sometime!

Please do! Because even over the course if the tournament England had no real stand out players. And Ireland had a shocker!

And the panel on Irish TV including Conor O Shea said the exact same!

English fans might get a bit upset but at the end of the day their players just aren't good enough

Wales hardly had a 'great tournament' or consistent stand out players........

It is a sport which encourages its players to be at their physical peak, why is that a bad thing?

Not really, we never had much of a grand slam winning squad. I do find it amusing that the Welsh moan about the 'arrogant English' and come out with posts like this. We'll see what happens come 2015 when it really heats up.

And what a privilege that will be. Oh how blessed to be from the land of Glwyndwr, Russell and Thomas. The rolling hills, song-filled valleys and sheep-laden pastures. Yes, what a blessing to be Welsh.

But even so. England has almost as many people in the urban areas of some of its major cities, like Birmingham, than Wales has in its entire nation. And bear in mind that football is still popular in Wales, too.

I guess Welsh men are just naturally more masculine, and greater physical specimens, than English men?
