Double whammy for Welsh rugby today now. Warren Gatland has fallen from a ladder at his home in NZ and broken both ankles. Gonna take some recovery , including possibly a wheelchair for a while. Not ideal for a bloke nearing 50 who spends a lot of time standing on the training field and in the stadiums.

Not been a good day for me as a Scarlet (and Wales) fan. Lloyd forced to retired, Gatland badly hurt and Stevo leaving the Parc

All the best to Burns, sucks your career was cut so short

Get well soon Gats, need both your feet to kick the Aussie's *ahem*

Thank you for everything Stevo, true legend of the game and an amazing bloke to boot

try being a Wasps fan at the moment, I'm really worried about the club's survival

though yesterday's signings probably mean I shouldn't panic just yet

I cant believe they signed Ashley Johnson. That is a great signing I have rated him in the super 15.

There's a rumour that Jonathan Davies is out for the rest of the season.

Ospreys continue to shine under the new coach. The change in the rugby is astonishing.

Handed Cardiff Blue's arse to them in the CCS 12-33.

If I had been a prop in that game I may well have lamped George Clancy. How you can be so dominant in a scrum and yet get penalised almost every time is beyond me.

Hospital spokesman said his family didn't wish to issue a statement at the moiment. Not sure if that is good or bad
Hope he comes through this

Very sad news about Lynagh. Always like him when he's a studio guest on Sky, very humble and always willing to criticise his home country if they aren't playing well.

Yeah sad news on Michael Lynagh seems a very respected man.

I have a very mixed weekend this weekend.

only my 3rd game of rugby of the season and I am on the bench for a cup final.

My last game coaching the women and it is a relagation decider.

+ I have to hope saracens win a game tonight and I really hate Saracens.

Not a rugby fan but absolutely gutted for Edinburgh. So proud all the same. Laidlaw was tremendous. Just too many sloppy errors in the final phases.

Great achievement to get this far and it's been a great season for sport in Edinburgh. Edinburgh making the semi finals of the European Cup and an all Edinburgh Scottish Cup final in the footy as Hibs take on Hearts. First Edinburgh final since 1897. The city is buzzing !!!

Through in Edinburgh tonight and the place really was buzzing. The pubs were packed to the rafters.

In a year in which they've defied the odds I really thought they were going to again and I think they deserved it. Such a shame about the handling errors in the second half!

I know you wouldn't expect a player from the losing team to get man of the match but Laidlaw deserved it in my opinion

Leinster were ferocious today though and soaked up everything Clermont threw at them.

Should be a great final and a fantastic occasion for Irish rugby

Heard on the radio sports desk that Michael has left hospital today. Only two weeks after suffering a stroke, that seems fairly promising news
