Great game but plenty more in store. Lions to win by virtue of Halfpenny's boot?

Bloody hell this ref mustve left his cards in the changing room. Most blatant penalty ever inches from the line and no card
Typical of the refereeing between a North and South team down under.

Cracking half, Corbisiero has been brilliant. Will go to the wire but Aussies look like theyre puffing a bit.

Subs are going to be crucial, and theyve used both their backs, another niggle and theyve a scrum half on the wing.

Lions have a slender lead at half time. I think they deserve it and hopefully they will wrap it up in the second half.

I've got to mention that the referee has been poor so far as far as the Lions are concerned. Firstly there was a blatant knock on by on of the Aussie players just before their first pen. Secondly the penalty advantage the Lions had before the Aus first try wasn't long enough. They only moved forward about 10 metres!

Not great defence from Sexton or Halfpenny but another superb try. Glad they missed the con, this game is either sides at the moment.
Yes it was a poor miss by Sexton in particular. Good job OConnor is having a bad boot day

You forgot that they should be starting the second half with 14 men for the next 10 minutes.

No doubt about that. I don't know why that wasn't a yellow.

Excellent first half to watch.Up front, would like to see a bit more from both second rows,Croft and Heaslip. Could see any of those replaced at some point in the second half.

Backs have been OK. Phillips needs to get that ball away but also needs quicker service from the back row. Sexton has been solid apart from being stepped a little too easily for the second Oz try.

O'Driscoll and Davies have been great individually but are struggling to gel. Roberts or Tuilagi would have had a field day out there. Cuthbert has struggled, Halfpenny has been a bit below his usual brilliance and North has been immense.

Shocking refereeing so far. A yellow card offence shouldnt matter whether its northern hemisphere southern hemisphere or on the moon

They should just give up now, if they don't want to play!

Very disrespectful comments about injuries, clearly from people who have never spent much time on a pitch having prepared for the most important game of your life.

Should be easy now with the injuries.

Straight away. A flanker in the centres. We can exploit this all day.

They are Aussies, that automatically means that they don't deserve respect!

I have respect for anyone who does the work involved to play at the elite level.
