Its amazing how many people keep saying croft isnt a worker, very odd, my guess is someone on TV or in the media has said this and it has been taken as gospel.
I personaly think the safety approach to this game is possibly what will swing it in favour of the Aussies. The Austrailian backs are still the best set of back playing on saturday and they will threaten any time they have the ball. If Genia is given half the space he had in the last game he will also cause problems. Austraillia wont leave the gaps around the breakdown this weekend as youngs is a quicker threat there and would exploit them. The team picked has to defend for 80 mins without a slip in concentration and that can work when you are playing a system you have played for 4 years. When you have only been playing it for the lenght of a tour that will be difficult to do. I cant understand why O'Brian or Tupirci have not been bought in as they offer a threat in tunrover ball and Tupiric is the best linking 7 in the northern hemisphere. This would speed uop your play and offer you a threat which keeps Austrailia on the back foot. I have the final day of my coaching course on saturday! we are starting at 6.45 so we can break for the game. Then this hell will finally be over and I will know if I have passed this damn course which has made me realise how little I know about rugby. |

Is there any provision for a draw - either Test or series?
Got a sneaky suspicion tomorrow will be close, maybe all square. If the next two tests end with a draw and Aussie win, would the series end 1-1 and be left at that? |

The way Australia have taken us in the scrum at the end of the last game and at the start of this one reminds me of 97 when everyone thought SA would smash us in the scrum but an undersized front row unit just took it too them.

So far so good but Australia look far more threatening in the backs.

Right, everyone blaming Maku... listen to Wallace; he knows what he's talking about as he actually played front row. Don't just listen to Barnes and make the lazy assumption it's Maku.

He came back well Vunipola for those last two scrums. He's tackled well in the loose. He'll get another 10 minutes.

Not a great half as a spectacle, not that I will be too bothered if it stays like that and we win.
Need to improve everywhere though. |

He probably will. Think Horwill will have some company next week. |
