Well there was a furore over players being picked by reputation rather than on merit but I never heard anyone saying that they were going to switch to supporting the All Blacks.

Some of what we have heard in the past week has been pathetic.

They've just gone over to the ground on SSN, seems odd to see them talking about the game later today when there is a night's kip for us to come. It was a no brainer it would always go to a decider, but I feel strangely underwhelmed for it.

I didn't have much confidence in us in a decider against Australia before the tour. That's reduced even more during the tour and having seen the team picked, I have little if any confidence now.

I sincerely hope I'm wrong and will be straight on here if I am, but when we've been poor in 3 of the 4 halves so far (5 of 6 if you count the Brumbies game which was always going to be the toughest other) and the stats from last week make absolute dire reading, we've managed to pick a side which looks even more defensive, one dimensional and uninspiring.

My biggest fear would be the last 10 or 15 minutes, even if we are ahead or in it, the more I see of Gatland sides of late, against the SH opposition, the more I see this "take what you've got" attitude and which rarely does.

Paddy Power have apparantly already paid out on the Lions winning after the first test.
