Brilliant from 1 to 23 and class from the players unlucky not to be in the side.
There's a core of this side that could be very handy in New Zealand in four years time. |

Corbisiero - Hibbard - Jones.
Just 50 minutes together yet they will forever be Lions legends. Shame we'll never see them together again. |

Very impressive from the off - dominated in the scrum and so powerful going forward.
Stuck 2 fingers up to the critics! |

As an aside........I thought Horwill was class in defeat with his speech. He is not a dirty player (from what i have seen of him) but only he knows if what he did on Alun Wyn was intentional.
Brendan Cannon was quite eloquent throughout his shifts I thought. A different Brendan Cannon here........ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMQem62sHik |

![]() You get world champion sportsmen / women going all gushy over pop stars or movie stars when at the same time the very same media stars are overwhelmed by sports stars ... wether it be golfers , footballers or whatever . |

Not sure whether Gatland ends up looking good because of the selection and performanance in the last game or foolish for not having strong scrummagers like Cobisiero and Sheridan in the initial party and not bulldozing the Wallabies in all three games.

Gave you an indication of the huge size of some of these players as he looked like a little boy beside them.

Scott Quinnell (the 'broader' one - roaming the pitch), or Will Greenwood (in front of the advertising screens). Lions both in their time.

Wonder if Gatland will be coaching New Zealand when the lions face them in 4 years.

Didn't spot it at the time, but they just showed Sexton's try on SSN and that knobhead Beale tried to knock him over as he celebrated, only for 2 other Lions players to run past and give Beale a smack
![]() Fantastic performance. Isn't it great when thousands of Australians practice their fire drill during the closing moments of a sporting occasion?

It also showed that as good as Warburton is, the best combined back row doesnt have him in it. It should be him or Lydiate as the the opensides today, from an attacking perspective brought so much more. Gatland was vindicated on a lot today, but in doing so, showed some earlier calls were wrong. |

To be fair Corbisiero was injured for a large chunk of the season and as far as I was aware, Sheridan retired from international rugby

The regions will more than likely kick up a fuss, as the WRU have again arranged a 4th fixture, this time against Oz. Which falls just a week from the resumption of the Heineken Cup group stages. I expect there will also be difficulties securing the services of the players who are in clubs in other countries for that one. Just the usual politics Gatland is coming back in to with the Wales job. |
