10 Australian sides??
I didn't think there were enough people playing rugby union in Australia to support that many teams |

"Australasian" i.e. mix of Australian and NZ sides (currently the Super 15 has 5 sides from each). I could read the whole of that article earlier but not anymore as now it is apparently behind a paywall.

England team: Mike Brown; Chris Ashton, Joel Tomkins, Billy Twelvetrees, Ben Foden; Owen Farrell, Lee Dickson; Joe Marler, Dylan Hartley, Dan Cole, Joe Launchbury, Courtney Lawes, Tom Wood, Chris Robshaw (c), Billy Vunipola. I'm not sure that replacements bench can change the game if things don't go to plan
Replacements: Tom Youngs, Matt Mullan, David Wilson, Geoff Parling, Ben Morgan, Ben Youngs, Toby Flood, Alex Goode. |

Whilst the big three discuss Super Rugby. thinking about the the ERC.
Wasn't one of the ideas mooted for a third tier rugby competition. Who would be in tier three? I get the impression after the French, English and Celtic League that Frances second league is the highest grade. Or is it tier three is based on countries rather than clubs. Why could we not invite a Argentinian Team to play in tier three in a Spanish city? Or a South American Team. If Super Rugby does not want to expand to that degree. Maybe a Pacific Islands team? |

This weekends fixtures
15 November Brazil v Portugal Russia v Japan (at Colwyn Bay) 16 November Georgia v USA Italy v Fiji French Barbarians v Samoa England v New Zealand Wales v Argentina France v Tonga Romania v Canada Ireland v Australia Uruguay v Spain 17 - Nov Scotland v South Africa Again well done the IRB. Allowing teams who have been at . could be at the 2015 World Cup (or future) a chance to play similar level teams. Really think the IRB realises, it is wants Rugby Union to be a major Worlrd Sport (and the Cup to stay as a a major sports event) it needs to expand, |

As much as I love England and think we're still vastly under-rated by certain elements of the press I fear this weekend we'll be hammered. I don't buy into the revenge thing, but I do think the kiwi players will want to make a point. We're the only team to school them in such a long time they'll want to set the record straight. Plus, they had a good warm up last week against France to iron out a few issues and England have got 2 of their best players missing in Corbs and Manu.
I'd be happy if we kept them under 35 points. |

Tomorrow will be tough and I'm not expecting any sort of repeat of last year's great win.
I'll be happy if we only lose by 10 points, though I really want us to win

Why are Sky showing the England vs All Blacks game and the BBC only gets highlights, but the first game in the Rugby League World Cup, England vs Australia, was shown in full?

Makes a change from watching it in reverential silence I suppose. |

Not sure whether it's slightly rude to completely drown out the Haka with Swing Low Sweet Chariot or not.

England on the verge of beating New Zealand again potentially.
I don't know why most teams don't beat New Zealand more given there population is only 3.5 million. Sorry I know that sounds thick, but from somebody who doesn't follow Rugby its just a thought. |

Owen Farrell is such a little brat - that shove on Cruden? Grow up lad, you're not 12 years old.
Watching the England game rather than the Welsh one (which is poor) - impressed with Brown and Lawes, though not looking forward to the media reaction if England win this, come on NZ! (Carter off...... there goes the only eye candy )
