I like it - it's almost "answering" the haka in a way, though I do like to hear it!

It's better than it being booed, which I have sadly witnessed.

(It's also not as bad as booing the kicker, sadly seems to be becoming a trend! Wales [I'm sad to say] are particularly bad at it, Irish fans are the only ones who seem to observe kicks in complete silence, good on them!)

NZ putting a bit of daylight between them and England now, thank god - bit of a tense few minutes there after half time!

How come New Zealand didn't play Wales?

England were brutal at the breakdown looking forward the six nations now. Interesting to see who brings the form?

I did read the Welsh RFU didn't want to pay the fees involved.

Good effort by England but New Zealand showed their class with those passes for the tries.

Lot of positives from that game. Only 7 of them played in last years match so we're building some strength in depth. Not having Corbs or Manu on the pitch is a big loss and arguably Parling makes quite a difference (although Lawes looks back to his wrecking machine best).

Kieran Read is just different gravy, I know McCaw has the presence but Read is just offensively good right now. Carter still oozes class in everything he does. Great game and fair result. Wonder what today will bring for Scotland.

Mark F is right I think - lots in the media just before the games started that WRU wouldn't pay fees etc.

For the best I think, NZ would probably have annihilated us!

Kierenj - you're right about Kieran Read (name solidarity? All Kierans together? ), he's in amazing form at the moment.

Don't think Carter was 100% from the start, but even a 50% fit Carter is better than pretty much any other fly-half around.

Agree, I can see Carter and McCaw taking long sabbaticals before the world cup to make sure they're fit.

No way is it rude, fair play to the fans singing over it was a brilliant atmosphere

P1sses all over the one in the Aviva anyway, sadly

Great show England by the way, ye've become seriously difficult to beat. Think ye'll be faves for the 6n myself

I would have said that last year, then look what happened. Though I might put a few quid on Scotland for the wooden spoon

If England had more creativity in the backs, I think they would've won yesterday. It's stereotypical to say but once the ball gets beyond the outside half then attacking momentum tends to get lost.

Relieved with a very good display by Wales yesterday and a very decent margin of victory. Argentina have lost a lot in terms of experienced players and a coach in the last year. It's still a relief to beat them after the defeat last year.

Tonga next week for Wales, which will be another bruising encounter. Hopefully it'll be a mix and match selection of the Autumn squad with a bit of a breather before the Aus game on December 1st. The Wallabies are really stepping up now in this Autumn series and they were near their clinical best against Ireland.

South Africa are cruising against the Scots and pretty much had the game won by half time. As ever, the pace of attack from SH sides is on another level to us up in the North of the equator. Not sure how long it will continue to go on before we address this. The tendency is that all Six Nations matches tend to turn into arm wrestles up front, which isn't ideal for the creativity needed to break down NZ,SA or Oz.

Very disappointed to see the Scots in such disarray really and Murrayfield's pitch is a disaster.
Springboks just went into holding mode for the whole 2nd half. I'm a Springbok supporter with Scotland as my 2nd favourite team, so sad to see them play that badly.

England proved they were not in awe of them - which is good given they are playing 3 tests out there next year! Where is the invention in our backs though? It is a serious flaw - when NZ and co attack it is cutting edge and the players seem to be running from a greater depth. All very stagnant from England (and more often than not Scotland and Ireland)

That in bold is 'it'. There was next to nothing there.

A fairly good 7 out 10 performance from England, but not quite good enough to repeat last year's win.

It's a shame the lineout disintegrated when Hartley went off, Youngs didn't have a good day at all. The two lost lineouts eventually lead to the winning try which saw New Zealand home.

Shame the next test between the sides will be fairly pointless, coming one week after Premiership final. Any decent players will be involved in that are unlikely to play again one week later.

Good performance from Wales, they'll be happy finally beating a southern hemisphere team after such a long time.

Ireland just never got going in the second half and didn't really pressure Australia. Scotland couldn't break through South Africa's defence. A better second half, but that's small consolation when they could get any points on the board

Roll on next week!

Yes, there were more divots and bare patches than grass by the end.
What was the TMO on at 5 mins to go when Habana chased back that kick, saying it was a knock on, scrum blue? It was scrum blue, but not for a knock on!

So did England. Would have thought Wales would want to play the best team in the world to see where they are at in terms of development.

If I fancied my chances at a world cup I would want to play New Zealand.

England won the World Cup in 2003 and got to the final in 2007 without playing NZ in either tournament. If Warburton hadn't had a rush of blood to the head, Wales might have avoided them until the final last time out.

I honestly think too much is written into facing the SH countries in glorified friendlies, whether they be in our Autumn or down South in our summer.

It's not inconceivable that one day a NH side could finish second in a WC group, then only face NH sides right through the knockouts.

Bit of an extreme way to rest six of them before the Wales game
