I didn't say it would work, but am not opposed to it

SBW can't be the only player good at both codes. We won't find out unless we try I suppose.

He is being looked at as an inside centre. He wont be a forward as really league forwards are just extra backs anyway just a bit bigger maybe.

Farrell wants him at inside centre to provide some smash in attack and defence. I think he would be great there but I aslo think he may be a penalty machine and a potential yellow red card machine.

Out of interest who do we think is the most successful convert from League?

I would say it is Brad Thorn who ironically is a forward who transferred and has won pretty much everything.

I agree, a "love-in" wasn't my implication. More that I (and the majority of people I know) respect the team and their game, and at the moment if we have to lose I'd rather we lose to them than most other teams.

Been reading very odd things about the Murrayfield pitch including growing garlic on it to halt the effect of roundworms. Doesn't sound like it was planted soon enough though!

Albeit with a weaken side Leicester are certainly getting a good game off Worcester.

Only ahead by a point ATM.

Sale easily winning - much improved this season whereas Gloucester have had a mare.

5 scrums 4 of which end in penalties. Commentators struggling to say why.
Why are scrums such a mess?

What an emphatic win for Ireland. A few hot headed Welsh players.

The atmosphere seems to disappear really quickly after the final whistle. The crowd just stopped cheering.
We'll done Ireland! Where were Wales?

Shocking from Wales far too many players went missing.

Not in Cardiff. They should have stayed there by the looks of it.

A powerful display from Ireland in Dublin - Peter O'Mahony... jesus look what a Corkman - what a beast... Wales were look ordinary at times and if anything the scoreline flatters them a little...

England next - bring in on!

Ireland executed their gameplan well. Wales outplayed and outmuscled with insufficient possession, didn't seem to have a plan B.
Phillips had to be substituted at the end to avoid being carded.
15th March looking good for a last match decider.

Losing Williams so early disrupted them. The first front row substitutions allowed Ireland to compete in the scrum. Welsh lineout was poor.

Not much discussion on here. Not many rugger fans on DS it seems.
