England not turning pressure into points
Yep, twice (thrice?) within 1m. A lot of work on Young's throws to be done, should be out tonight with Mears practising as a punishment.
Stats in the second half summed it up 67% of play in Scotland's half, 1% of play in England's 22.

Long term residency, also played all their age-group rugby for England

Not at all! - to beat England and France on the road would be exceptional... we haven't beat France in Paris in 14 years and England in Twickenham since 2010..

I agree. France are still slight favourites at the minute IMO.

Well if you beat England you've got the Triple Crown, then you must be favourites to beat Italy, which leaves France in Paris. Just channel the BOD spirit of 2000 And even if Ireland lose to France in Paris and IF England win their last 3 games I can't see them scoring enough points to overhaul Ireland's points difference advantage

I suppose we can always dream though - it would be some way to win a grand slam.

Will France be able to turn it on playing on that PITCH at Murrayfield though? And as ever, who knows what French team [attitude wise] will turn up in Cardiff

If you win in London and Paris then you deserve it

Winning the 6 nations on points difference would while good be a massive let down if we were to get to Paris unbeaten .. I suppose all we have to worry about is England next - a win in London would be a great result.

I don't think anyone could begrudge us if we did... Ireland win a grand slam and Munster the HC and i'll be a happy boy

One game at a time is the best mentality, let's hope the weather stays kind for a fast open game at Twickenham

Yep, it's definitely not out of the question, will be tough but I hope they can pull it out.

True. France will have no issue with Wales if Wales continue playing the same way though. While they'll struggle to mass up the points at Murrayfield, all they'll need to do is win and that shouldn't be difficult based on how poor Scotland have been.

Saw the 2006 Heineken Cup Final in Cardiff - I remember the whole stand shaking with all the noise the Munster fans were making and the TINY contingent of Biarritz supporters being made to look a lot bigger numerically by Sky TV

Even England created opportunities for their backs on that pitch! France will work the blind side and conjure up a try or just turn pressure and territory into points.
Cardiff is another matter entirely.

No idea! but what a player that Billy is, the new ones have been playing very well, good on Danny Care for turning his life around, but what was that with Farrel knocking into Cusiter, what an idiot

Ireland, what can I say, bloody well done, brilliant game, really good line up, was pleased to see O'Connel back, and good on O'Driscoll for saying no no, aint coming off!! As for Mike Philips, meh, bad loser

Great result and good performance on an awful pitch. Shame England fell away last week, as we'd be on a decent roll now.

Next match against Ireland will be hard, hopefully we can keep the run going.

Still think France are favourites for 6N and possible grand slam.

His father moved the family to Wales to play rugby for Pontypool/Pontypridd before moving again to England.

And thus they qualify under residency rules

Italy should actually be drawing 6-6, they have been quite impressive
