No, I wouldn't expect any characters, if they address it at all then Carla will buy it off a cousin off-screen or something

Frank's House

Since when did Sally have a key to Frank's house? I remember when she caught Frank and Jenny cheating she was knocking on the door, so she obviously didn't have a key then, and I highly doubt Frank gave her one after they broke up! Unless Anne gave Sally a key when she was being so supportive after Frank's death?

Also, is that Frank's house or his mother's??

I presumed it was Frank's house?..can't remember where Anne lives?

No sign of Jenny since this has all happened?..will she be back?..she wasn't at the funeral was she?

The front door..really should have had FROSTED glass..don't think I'd like people being able to look in like that lol

It is Franks house, Anne came to stay when Carla first accused Frank of rape. After the not-guilty verdict at the trial Frank essentially chucked her out suggesting she go stay with her sister.

Re the frosted glass, how would super-kev have seen in if the glass wasn't clear?

and it'll be done in five minutes, usual disregard of values or probate (just like Charlie Stubbs's building business, IIRC)

They could have somebody inherit who is married so Carla could steal the husband. Keeping to tradition.

It was lucky for Kev that the garage door was open, and that he knew there was a doorway into the house (which was also unlocked!) from the garage.

If most of the people at the funeral were family, then why was Sally the only person to sit near or talk to Anne? When Anne rushed out of the church no-one else came within fifty yards of her to help...maybe she has a habit of slaying family members?

I'm not 100% I heard correctly, but when Anne was relating to Carla what happened the night Frank died, she said (I think) that she could hear the sound of breaking glass as she hit him! But wasn't the whiskey bottle found intact?? And I don't recall broken glass around Frank where he was laying, Sally was kneeling down so there couldn't have been any!

I'm disappointed it was Anne tbh, I mentioned in another thread I couldn't see how she could have killed Frank, partly because of the way she held it together afterwards, which makes her seem to be a psychopath! Secondly, the physical aspect seemed "off" to me, she's not a very tall woman, elderly and even in a temper, could she have hit her taller, stronger son that hard with a bottle, so hard as to kill him??

While the whole "controlling" Frank and rape s/l were relatively well done over all, this murder felt almost like an afterthought. If it was supposed to be a "whodunnit", it was rubbish, so why not just show Anne kill Frank in the first place and concentrate more on the cops trying to figure out who did it or characters being suspicious of each other? The writers really need to start reading more Agatha Christie novels if they continue killing characters off left right and centre!!

I said in another thread. Anne would not have been in the Church. She would have arrived with the body, in the funeral cortege.

One black handbag looks much like another and I really did not think that Carla was such a chum of Sally's that she could immediately identify the bag as hers. Ridiculous.

When Carla heard the noise from upstairs, she called out Sally's name. Wouldn't it have been more logical to have asked who was upstairs. She could not have known that Anne was alone.

Agree about Kevin getting into the house so easily. Plus, if Anne had arranged caterers and food at the house, where was it? Are we to believe that in her distraught state she went home and threw everything away and cleaned up. Very likely, not.

The two episodes were clumsily put together and really do put a strain on incredulity.

With regard to the BIB, in the last scene you can see a tray of sandwiches on the table with a clear plastic cover, so all the food was still there!

I agree with the rest of your post though!

Anne must have been deaf not to hear him fling open the garage door and 'sneak' up on her!

So, whose feet did we keep on seeing in the trailers? They were definitely a man's shoes/boots not a woman's unless Ann has taken to wearing Doc Martins in her old age.

The whole thing was a complete SOR not to mention utter rubbish it was a complete let down.

It seems to me that anything concerning Carla the Diva is over the top. This is the third, no fourth husband/boyfriend/brother in law that she has seen off. They'll be calling her the Black WIdow next,

BIB I think like someone has mentioned before that they seem to be written by different scriptwriters as Anne said she heard the glass shattering and yet the bottle wasn't broken at all. I wish they would get their act together. I did like Gail frightening Kylie with the home schooling, I am glad they have toned her down now

Surely most adults have a funeral outfit in their wardrobes? Even young adults have grandparents or other elderly relatives who could pop off at any time. I lost my mother, grandmother and uncle when I was 21 and have had something black in my wardrobe ever since.

This is Corrie love. The plots and scriptwrighting is done by bunch of chimps playing consequences!!

Would any employer put up with the level of scowling and back-biting Tina did all last night?

Stella only did what any employer would do and she was quite reasonable about it. Even after she apologised Tina was still bitching. Who'd want to see her arsey face over the bar? She'd curdle the beer!

No I haven't, I only have black trousers and funnily enough the last few funerals I have been to, it was requested that black wasn't worn including my Dads funeral

Surely there was enough time between the death and the funeral for them to buy something black. There is no need to have a supply of black clothes "just in case".

It's a good job that garage door was left unlocked. I am surprised the front door wasn't unlocked too.

I've been to a number of funerals recently and very few people wore black except for maybe the immediate family. I thought it odd that 3 women, none close to Frank except one(ish) wore black.

I think it would be VERY unusual to only own one item of black clothing. Carla wears black quite a bit anyway I think, and Michelle.
