I'm sure somebody will correct me if I have got this wrong.
That was my take on it too.

Becky also gave the proceeds of her share to Kylie before she left for Barbados (I think it was Barbados)

But we know what a fussy little stickler Norris is for rules and such. I don't know if he was ever as condescending as Blanche about Hayley. I just felt like it was the sort of thing he'd have enough concern over to bring up. Ah never mind.

But my post was in response to the person that reckoned it would contravene "the rules" of the competition, not Norris's prejudices.

Not in my lease they're not - it's expressly forbidden.

Lloyd didn't seem a bit surprised that Eileen was working at the switchboard - yet she left long before he did.

In my lmited experience, estate agents will let sellers do as much work as they can for them. Didn't Sally misbehave when Kevin was going to sell their house

Did anyone notice Joseph's handprint on the card - it was more like the size of a toddler's hand not a 6 month old.

Also big SOR that Tracy would even think Lloyd would employ her. If he does it goes beyond all belief. He doesn't like her and has warned Steve away from her many times. He would not hire her just to spite Steve.

In 24 hours Lloyd had bought a business, moved into the premises, had the signage done and business cards printed. He had also negotiated new contracts and word had already got around the area that he was a new business employing lady drivers. That has got to be quick even by Corrie standards.

Indeed! I thought the same. What about the financing though? I assume he needed a loan because he didn't buy back into Streetcars but expected Steve to give him a 50% share. And what about Lloyd staying in Eileen's spare room? What spare room?! Or maybe he's bunking up with Sean now Marcus has gone!

Perhaps Eileen ought to go on Hotel Inspector or Three in a Bed (don't even THINK about it ) - we could then have a conducted tour

How did Steve not know that his only female driver had left Streetcars and was now working for Lloyd?!

When Lloyd took his stuff to Streetcars office, when he thought Steve was offering him a partnership and wouldn't let Steve get a word in, he sat in the chair and said "I'll just go and get my check book." implying that he had plenty of money in his account, even though the impression was that he was broke.

The spare room she was talking about is the 2nd bedroom upstairs( the one that Jason had), Sean sleeps in the front room. All I can say is, that fireman guy must be pretty desperate for a woman, he's left his own nice modern house(will it ever be mentioned again?) to live in Eileen's mingin' poky house, sharing with two men, one who is a complete stranger to him, sleeping in the room next to him. Would any man be that desperate? I mean she's hardly a catch.

Oh yes. That spare room!

The fireman had a lovely house and as you say will it ever be mentioned again? Just like Lesley, his recently deceased wife, who actually died in Eileen's kitchen will she ever be mentioned again?

Yes! Two or three of us do the "visuals" of the soap's more bizarre happenings - like you say, Eileen's upstairs and The Rovers seem to have limitless space!! lol!

I'm surprised he hadn't had time to redecorate the office as well!

There was a door behind Steve in th cab office that I had never noticed before. I presume it leads to the upstairs flat?

Does eileens home have an unseen down stairs room? For her upstairs to be big enough for two bedrooms and a bathroom there may be another room behind her living room. It would make sense for this to be seans (and marcus) room since i doubt two men who both have jobs would be living on a sofa when they could afford to rent a place of their own. From some shots the tiny kitchen looks like it was added on so its likely the downstairs originally consisted of two rooms ie kitchen/diner and seperate living room. By adding the kitchen and creating a living/dining room there would be a spare room.

Yes, she has a room at the front, as all the old terrace houses have, although some are knocked through like Dev's and Fiz's houses. We have never seen Eileen's front room, but it's not big by any means, certainly not big enough for two men to live in it with all their belongings, which is ridiculous when they could afford their own place. Anyway, now that Marcus has moved out, I am quite sure Sean will never move, he's such a baby! The tiny kitchen wouldn't have been added on, that was the size kitchens were when old houses were built, they used to call them kitchenettes or sculleries in the old days, at least they did up here, not sure about England.
