He seems to be picking up popularity at the right time and he is now on a level playing field with the other 2 on skating ability. He could steal this now.

Depends what people vote on. Some seem to vote for any male and he was the only one available tonight. Next week that vote will split. Others just follow the leaderboard and he was overmarked tonight.He also had the rebound vote going for him from last week.He's also got a strange problem that his past best routines got him into the bottom two, so what does he use. Mathew still hasn't got a wow routine though and Chico has jumped up a couple of places in the vote over Jorgie tonight.

I did not think he was over marked. He was more than a point better then Jorgie and Matt after the pairs skate. His skate was perfect and the other two made mistakes. If he was over marked the other 2 were for sure.

That's what I thought. Do not think there is a clear front runner. Each week it might be close.
The final would be dull without Chico.

Yep - looks very similar to last year too where the vote was all over the place although we don't know as of yet how strong Matt's vote is. He was good enough to avoid the skate off when he was 3rd from bottom after the team challenge but then Jorgie also did last week when she was bottom.
I've said elsewhere a lot will come down to performances on the night.
I'mreally glad that Chico is in the final. I don't think he will win it though unless something happens...either a fantastic routine or mistakes by the others.
I get fed up year after year when female celebs barely put a foot on the ice but are carried round in poses go through when male celebs are having to do lifts and support their female professionals without all the ooohs and aahs from the crowds.
At least this year they can all skate but Jen wasn't in the same class on her own.

Me too. He's been my favourite from the start. Matt and Jorgie are fabulous skaters and I enjoy watching them but.........either of those two looked potential winners from the start. Chico imo has come on leaps and bounds and he deserves his place in the final.
Who knows...........there is a chance he could pull this off, even if it's only a slim chance. I will be shouting in his corner. I've thoroughly enjoyed watching him.

If you look at him compared to Matthew, he always look so safe getting Joydene into and out of the lifts, maybe it's the choreography he's given, but Matthew seems to fling Nina all over the place; seem's to have less regard for her safety.

I think that's uncalled for - to suggest matthew doesn't care about Nina is wrong. Why would you accuse anyone of not caring if their partner gets hurt? There have been a few celebs I haven't liked over the years & we all have our faves etc. but I'd never accuse anyone of that.

Well saying stuff like 'seems to have less regard for her safety' implies it to me.
