Is it true that Chico is...

entering Masterchef? And Jennifer Ellison going for Strictly? As they are professional z-listers whose only career is entering things, shouldn't they get started?

I don't know about Chico, but I doubt very much that Jennifer will go on SCD because she has studied dance. That's why she was good in hold with Daniel and rarely touched the ice unaided.

Err, I was kidding. But it's an interesting thought. There's scope here for a tv programme that just utilises people who are 'famous' for once having been famous for nothing particular and now have to enter lots of competitions to find something they could do. I'd rather peel broad beans than watch it, but judging by this website there would certainly be a market.

There are certain celebs who seem to appear on everything and anything on TV. I would imagine that any of the contestants would consider any offer they got, after all appearing on TV is how they make their living!

Yet you are commenting on several threads on this forum today so clearly you do have some appetite for this type of show. Im pretty sure you would watch it and therefore very much part of the market you seem to be deriding

I must have missed something, because last time I looked, Jennifer Ellison wasn't famous for being famous - she had a career that, last time I heard, she still worked at.

As far as I am aware, only 1 out of the final 4 became famous from a reality show.

Or are you a little too erudite to watch any soaps ? Maybe too busy preparing veg to let anything so lowbrow onto your screen ?

Well, of the many celebrities that we've been forced to watch over the years, Chico is at least (a) reasonably entertaining and (b) reasonably competent, unlike Kerry Katona or Katie Price.
