I'd be interested to see if its cheaper to buy each separately via amazon etc rather than go with this 'magazine' type subscription

I don't think it would be. With some of the more popular ones you'd probably get them cheaper, but for all 60 odd books I don't think £9.99 is a price that's gonna be bettered in too many places.

if you only want certain ones then yeah, go for amazon. resale value on the unwanted ones will probably be low with 28000 subscribers around. |

you want a link to all 60 books? Just go to Amazon, search each title and see if they have them.

I've had a look on Amazon, and all the ones I have searched for have been on there. The prices range from £6 to £20 depending on hardback or paperback and which title you are after.
Some random ones... Seige New Avengers Breakout House Of M And these were the first three I just searched on Amazon. Mark

I'm still waiting on receiving issues 4 and 5, and any issues after that, or any word on what's happening!
Mid Feb I signed up and not a single thing has been sent to me. I emailed asking what was going on and got a response saying that there where stock issues and they would be sent out shortly. I replied straight away asking if they know when approximately I can expect these issues to be sent and what would happen about the other issues released in the mean time. 2 weeks later still no reply. I have to say I find their customer service disgraceful. I'd like to do what other people on here have suggested, getting the gifts then cancelling the subscription with them and getting it through a newsagent, but I've not even received the gifts yet -_- Not happy with them at all. |

My original plan was to get the gifts, then cancel my subscription and order them through my local comic shop. As it happens, I'll probably have finished the collection before I get the free gifts!

Hachette online account details
I had similar problems to some described here, working out what and when things were coming.
You might all be interested to know that you can set up an online account at hachette.co.uk's website (not the Marvel Graphic Novel website!) and you can then see all your payment details, books, gifts, letters that have been sent to you and when etc. Very very handy for relieving some of the pain of subscribing to this! Why they don't advertise this more I do not know! Delbert |

Wolverine (Issue 9) was out on Tuesday. This is the thinnest Graphic Novel book to date, but that said, it does look like a great story.
Any feedback on anyones favourite issue to date? I've enjoyed them all so far, but "The Ultimates - Superhuman" and "Spiderman - Birth Of Venom" have been my favourite. Mark

ARRRG I don't believe this! After 2 months of waiting, with barely any information other than "It's out of stock", and that's only when they bother to reply to emails, I finally recieve issue 4 and 5.
DAMAGED! Issue 4 has a tear along the back cover, while issue 5 has a massive dent along the spine. I'm starting to wonder if their way of handling buisness is a breech of trading standards and whether to report them. Worst company I've ever had to deal with

I finally got mine today as well as you, Panda. Along with a letter saying that although some issues are out of stock, they'll continue with susequent issues and the missing ones will be sent asap. Which is fine, but I dont want to be sent some every 2 weeks (instead of the 4) and have to spend more money quickly.

6 and 7 finally arrived for me too. I was tempted to hold on and wait for the bookends to be delivered, they were the only gifts that I was particularly bothered about, but now I think I'm going to cancel my order and get the rest of them through my local comic shop. He's had issue 8 in for about three weeks.

so issues 8 and 9 are out there in the public domain - who wants to place odds on when subscribers will actually get them?
my local comic store says there not stocking them so stuck with them. |

And they won't order in a copy for your pull list? Hmm, nice...
i'm quietly hoping that after book 10 or so they might have pulled there thump out of their bum at hachette and be sorted out. |
