I don't think it should be axed but used as it was this series, towards the end of the series when the celebs are more confident. Nobody is forced into doing it and it would'nt be suitable for everyone but done properly I enjoy it.

It doesn't seem as scary when it's the male pro doing it, but I felt very queasy seeing Nina dropping to the ice last Sunday, regardless of whether that was her or Matthew's fault.

I don't think they should axe it, I agree that it is a very difficult move and if it goes wrong it could potentially go horribly wrong, but you can't axe it, it's a measure of how talented the performer is, they skate with professionals, the professional should know whether their partner has the ability to do it or not and they should trust in them, if they don't, don't do it.
