My thoughts on Sunday's scores

Jorgie and Matt had headbangers so difficult to have a clean skate. This meant it was easier for Chico to win the first round.
Jorgie and matt had the same score.

Matthew deserved first place in the skills round. In skills test Jorgie and Chico gained the same score. Jorgie did a much better spin. I thought her skating was superior to Chicos.

Chico probably got extra votes on Sunday as people were desperate to prevent Jen getting through to the final. By having him above Jorgie that too helped get him avoid the skate off.

The right skaters are in the final but I always get slightly annoyed by any manipulation of the scores. We do not know the size of Matthew's vote. Was there a reason for allowing one skater straight through to the final. did they need to do that to make sure Jen was in the skate off? Or is Matt not Very popular with the voters and needed that help?

We really cannot be sure who is the most popular with the voters this year. Maybe That is also maybe what the production team wanted to achieve. Usually we can guess the order but this year it is more difficult to predict. hopefully the best on the night wins

I'd say Chicco should have scored above Jorgi in the solo skate as she tends to not finish moves such as crossovers completely.

No, one had a float spin, one had a headbanger. neither move was done particularly well.

Name is irrelevant to the point I was making. One is just more dangerous. The girl is in the same position for both. They were not expected to be done well!!!!!!! Both moves were put in to make the routines imperfect which allowed Chico to win the first round. Matthew should never have been allowed to do that move. It was downright dangerous for Nina. He. Is not good at lifts. The one the week before was really shaky and Nina who is really acrobatic was reluctant to let go.

Jorgie was superior to them all

Surely the scores should be about what they actually did, rather than what they supposedly tend to do.

I loved both Chico and jorgie in the ultimate skills test but Chico was better. Granted, jorgies spin was amazing but she did her forward crossovers with almost straight legs, finished earlier and seemed a little less smooth over the ice than Chico. I think chicos spin let him down but apart from that I think he deserved to be .5-1.0 ahead of her

Jorgie's timing was off. She arrived on the spot a few seconds too early. Her cross overs were not as good as Chico or Matt's

I agree .... Matthew was the strongest so deserved the top marks, Chico, whilst a bit stiffer in his upper body than Jorgie, had far more precise and controlled footwork ... Jorgie raced from one element to the next, her crossovers were quick and choppy rather than flowing and complete ..... which is the problem I've had with Jorgie's skating from the start .... far too frantic and sloppy, she dosen't skate "into" the ice and complete the footwork properly, she skims across the ice and has less bend in her knees than the guys (probably as a result of her ballet training)

Well if you want to be picky, she actually didn't finish moves such as crossovers.......better.

Hmm, so people are voting tactically (really?) and the production team is favouring certain performers.

Heh. I love conspiracy theories.

Now, what about those fake moon landings, huh?

I felt both Matthew and Jorgie did not do their floating
headbangers perfectly and their were minor issues
with their routines.
However, I felt Matthew was slightly overmarked and should
have got a 9 (he almost smashed poor Nina's face in).
Kudos to Nina for continuing the routine.

Jorgie did better than last week (she was given better material than previous week) and should have got 9.5

I liked Chico's routine alot and love his personality but
thought the judges marks were too generous. I would
have given 8.5 to 9
