To this thread I answered:
Adele - She's amazing.
Amy Winehouse - She was amazing.
Ellie Goulding - I don't know why really, I should have clicked off her, cos I chose too many, but oh well, I like her and her cover of Your Song.
Emeli Sande - New, current.
Jessie J - Love her album!
Rebecca Ferguson - See Ellie Goulding. Swap her cover of Your Song for Nothing's Real But Love.
Cher Lloyd - Think With Ur Love, Want U Back and Superhero are amazing.

Finally a reasonable response from an AB fan, Thank you.

Its much better than being told I must be listening to music wrong.

Joss stone is incredibly underated. She is incredible. Her, Amy and Adele have been the three best things to come out of Britain and take on America over the last 10 years. Joss isn't so commericial anymore but she is making music she wants to do and doesn't care about commericial success. Plus she does it all herself as she has her own label and writes and produces everything.

I don't think you'll get a nice response if you are very sarcastic.

I liked her earlier material too.

Regarding her be ignored, she's a bit older and always kept her clothes on which doesn't seem to be in fashion currently.

I'd agree with that.

Black female artists don't tend to have a good experience signed to British labels. I'm thinking of people like Kélé Le Roc, Terri Walker and Shola Ama.

Autotune's always a problem! Horrendous.

I wouldn't see Beyoncé as being 'amazingly talented' or indeed significantly more talented that anyone else who passed through Destiny's Child. She's worked very hard and has a very pushy father who always favoured her.

Maybe due to the ongoing stigma of being 'discovered' through a TV talent show, otherwise I can't see a lack of talent holding her back. Obviously sales-wise to date, she's nowhere in comparison.

She's not blonde but her singles released so far have bimbo-appeal and little else.

People hold all sorts of opinions. It doesn't follow that they are realistic.

She went on to work with one of the biggest artists of the time (Prince) and sang a Bond theme. Not bad going.

Will Young has managed to stay around.

Madonna's limited vocal ability may have divided opinions on her too.

My bold. Not much point in trying to reign in other poster's negative (?) words if you're going to be provocative yourself!

They were distracted for a while: directing their ire towards Misha B. instead.
