Anyone else think that The Wurzels are quite possibly the greatest band in the history of music?! I think they're gurt lush! Ooh arrrr! "I am a cider drinkerrrr..." I loves a bit of Scrumpy & Western, I does!

i think they became possibly the greatest novelty act in pop... after they started out with adge cutler, producing proper folk.

i reckon 'combine harvester' is a great novelty record... (a re-make of 'brand new key' by melanie)

As I am half Cornish they will always have a special place in my heart. Great fun band, and I saw them live once in a pub car park at a village Fun Day down in Cornwall a few years ago

I'm a Bristol boy, so a bit biased.

Saw Adge and the Wurzels live when I was at college in Bristol and have sung along to Drink up Thee Cider at many a Bristol City game over the years.

Always grin when I hear the Wurzels version of Don't Look Back In Anger - possibly better than Oasis original!

I live 30 miles north of you in The Shire and I have to agree.

Never saw Adge, (far too young ), but we always go and see them when they play locally, always a great night out.

Yeah, other Wurzels fans! I love them and have done since I was little! I think they're lyrics are so funny and clever and I think it's briliant that they're still going strong, doing lots of gigs. Long Live The Wurzels!
