Indeed. While I think Katie should probably have gone, I've no sympathy for Billiana whatsoever.

I enjoyed this episode, though the result was frustrating because it's one of those times when the team with the best product lost (and lost heavily at that!)

My favourite part of the episode was the use of the music from The Artist throughout though....

Interesting, I never thought of Jane as poisonous at all. Just incredibly tough and straight-forward. Someone had to be.
Then again I did pick her as my favourite based on first impressions so I guess I'm now stuck with her.
Think she's in it for a while though, she got a very concentrated edit.

I was pulling for Katie to go until a couple of minutes before the decision, with Bilyana and Gabrielle practically combusting it all got a bit messy and I wasn't sure what was what anymore.

I'm getting those same vibes about Jane as well, she's definately got hints of a long-term edit. Personally I see her as being a Lorraine-esque figure.

I wonder what you made of the emphasis the editing made on Katie being lucky to stay, part of me feels as if this is pre-empting somewhat of a redemption arc for her and that Katie goes on to make it quite far in the game.

We should really discuss this in more detail in Edgic.

Her other downfall was using a long road to get to where she wanted to go, which was a waste of selling time. If she had carried on selling, then I don't think she would have got the boot so easily, for all her back chatting to LS.

Difficult to say if it was the right decision, as there was a case to be made for all three of them.

But, as Lord Sugar put it, he knew about Bilyana (her errors and gob) and he didn't know about Katie yet (though that didn't stop him in the past).

Gabrielle probably deserved to stay for her boardroom defence, though she should have handed over the finances to Jane or Bilyana.

Also, the editing (and Nick) makes it look like Katie was invisible during the task, but did you guys know there is also a Scottish lass competing (the bridal shop owner)??


As for looks, which seems the main reason people are upset about this firing (let's face it, if you're fired can almost fill an entire episode of your failings then you didn't do well), I had all three ladies tagged before the show started so the end result would always be the same.

Strongest candidates seem to be Jade and Duane at the moment.

Having a look at the profiles of the candidates on the BBC website, I think Azhar, Ricky, Nick, Jade and Katie could be ones to watch.

Jane (Irish snake) - think she'll be there for a while in a Natasha kind of way (only Natasha was less bitchy)

Bilyana just reminded me of Melody from last series.

She reminded me of Paloma Vivanco from 2010.

They nicked this idea of 2 and a half men when the url 'Ihatecharlieharper.com' was mentioned, which pointed back to NBC (or whichever channel shows it)
