LOL I don't think they think they're aggresive. It's just that like "both twins" are always talking at the same time they're annoyed with "each other"
But we know that the real John and Edward don't care at all if they're talking at the same time. And they don't threaten each other, they just punch, slap, and hit each other freely

This comedian already did something similar last year and that's why they had the quiff and the Lipstick outfit (Check from 3:08)

I think they're the dream of every comedian: fun attitude, original look, and there's two of them!

I really hope Spain gives some good points to Ireland in the semi. I'm afraid that not more than 8 anyway because we have a lot of people from Romania and Albania living here so I guess they'll get the 10 and 12 points (12 for Romania, I'm sure of that) but we'll try to help the twins as much as we can

I've just watched that Popcandies tv vid - I think John thought the film was amazing. How many times did he say it, make a change from okay.

Thats not how UK comendians see them unfortunatly...they only know how to be spiteful to them

I'm starting to get as nervous about these semis as I was Eurosong... I was so relieved that they won the wild card ... just think, last year, I didn't even know they had any Semis

Haha! Yes, I wondered if something like that was behind it too. Cute.

Shame on them. Maybe they aren't really good comedians if they can't talk about them without being mean

Thats a pretty good time isn't it?

According to this http://www.marathontrainingexpert.co...thon-time.html the average marathon completion time for men is 4 hours 30 mins, so, if 3 hours 30 is their time (or more likely one of their times), it's pretty darn good.

Edit: just done a bit of calculating (which I hope is right - maths was never my strength) and that comes out at about 7.5 miles per hour.

Blimey. I'm even more impressed than I already was. Still it shouldn't be a surprise I suppose the amount of exercise they get on stage.

Yep, the Italian entry changed after the singer won the national competition with an unremarkable big ballad. The new song, L'amore č femmina, is a great Amy Winehouse-ish pop track, in both English and Italian. It will do well!

That Spanish comedy reminded me of the good-natured ribbing they get with Irish comedians. It's like "They're crazy, full of energy, they never stop talking, but, ok, we can't help but like them."

glad to hear that I hope the comedian does this more times until Eurovision.

And I'm also glad to see an Eurovision blog using our vid

I'm thinking it is Ally! It's about an 8 minute mile pace. I was reading that the average time for most 'recreational' male runners is 4 hours 30mins for fellers. I think they could do exceptionally well in a marathon if trained properly and come in line with the 'elite' runners...

I'm a lot older and unfit and training for a 5k - I'm coming out at 14 minute mile atm ()..... On the site I go on I am amazed a folks coming in at that 7-8 minute pace especially for a marathon...I know I will never get to that pace due to being old and having a knackered foot

Edit... Just seen Silverhand's post

Apparently they told someone in a DM and JedGen tweeted it to their PR lady when she asked.

Also, BBC Radio 5Live took the Jed's marathon as inspiration for the theme for their text-in last night. They asked people to tell them crazy things they had done on a whim. They didn't talk about the twins much, just to say they had done the marathon with no specific training. Still, that show gets a big audience, so it's all good.
