Excellent!! A board devoted to hating a man I truly despise (Louis the unbearable Leprechaun)....I was beginning to wonder if it was just me who couldn't see how loathsome and false the little lech really is - he has made himself look SUCH a fool on this programme (as he did previously on PSTR, but more so here) - he's the one who has incited all this feuding between the judges and continues to do so; plus he was so JEALOUS that Simon had thought of using a choir and he hadn't thought of any gimmicks....he has a nasty twisted bitter little look on his face when he is spewing bile at Simon and his contestants - he comes out with false OTT compliments about his and Sharon's acts the whole time, inciting Sharon to do the same....he is a waste of space - who can remember all those DISMAL auditionees he wanted to put through week after week and Simon and Sharon being amazed (not in a good way) at the quality he was prepared to put through..I will admit that Simon and Sharon have also made some poorer choices (I don't honestly think Verity was ever a strong enough choice for the finals) but Louis picks dated, dismal acts OVER and OVER again....and why he didn't advise 2 to GO to change that terrible, awful name I really do not know - it makes them sound so "teenage school group".....plus, what HAS he done to Jonathan from G4, and overall his styling choices for both G4 and 2 To GO have been consistently appalling (although I will admit to a big improvement in VWS)...what a shame we can't vote off judges.....
also, Peppermint, why are you writing in that style...no-one writes that way - speak that way, yes possibly, but not WRITING.....

No wonder the bloody judges are making it a mockery the bloody fans are as well... me I will just vote for me favs and there is one is each camp at the minute, but only the one that is the best on the night gets me vote, I play fair, unlike some peeps here is doing.

I'm actually backing VWS (and Rowetta) yet I still despise Louis - he lets himself AND his acts down with his falseness, obsequiousness and generally b*tchy unnecessary comments mainly directed towards Simon and his acts. Simon (and I cannot believe i am saying this) has on this particular show, tried very hard to be objective and honest with his feedback (possibly with the exception of the Verity choice) whereas Louis has been biased in the extreme and has even admitted it!

Now that WOULD be entertaining........

Although, can I just add, that I like Louis, I quite like all three judges, but the prospect of watching them squirm is vastly amusing!

Totally off topic but well said floofin. I find it annoying enough to hear people speak like this let alone write like it. I was brought up in south London and I didn't leave school that long ago but I'd have been strung up if I'd been caught speaking like this and a couple of years later it just seems acceptable. I've no problem with regional accents and dialects but this is not an ENGLISH accent of any sort so keep it where it belongs. Good job I'm not a mod, I'd delete any post written in this style.

Peppermint I agree with what others are saying, it IS difficult to read posts written in this style, would it hurt you to maybe pay attention to your grammar a little?

And it's got nothing to do with being Irish. I have many Irish friends who write to me regularly, and their emails are perfectly readable, as are most posts on here.

I have never had a problem with Peppermint's writing. I think it's highly pedantic and linguistically snobbish to criticise people for their style. If there was a real, real problem with styles of writing (whether that reflects speech or not), then people wouldn't be able to understand anything Peppermint said. I strongly suggest that that's not the case.

I think posters should have more respect for people than be pedants about such irrelevant nonsense and cast cringe-worthy embarrassing posts about others. I find that undermining and really very, very rude.

Why this need to jump out and 'correct' people? Who gives anyone the right to do this?
