Lamb grillsteaks or something like that - they were brutal. I think it was when Mum was trying out shopping at Finefare (I think that's what it was called).
Crisp pancakes, tried one once when I was younger at a friends house because my Mum wouldn't buy them - never again. I hated the wee slimy bit on the inside of the crispy crumb bit. |

Most of that stuff you can still buy.
Toast Toppers are still available, I can buy them in Tesco, Asda, B&M and occasionally at a local farm shop. I bought two tins of Heinz Beans with sausages just today. Angel delight is still available and the major supermarkets even do their own versions (Tesco's version is about 17p a packet but uses artificial sweetener so is bloody awful). Shippams sandwich pastes are still available in all the supermarkets too. I have a packet of Bird's Eye potato waffles in my freezer. Pot Noodles you can buy all over the place, although they are now better for you which of course means they don't taste anywhere near as good. ![]() However, you don't seem to be able to buy Cremola Foam anywhere these days. |

Brussels sprouts. I hated them as a kid, but decided to have another try recently. They were still bloody awful.

I've seen it in sweetie shops in Callander, Pitlochry and Crieff. Never bought it though, was scared I'd be disappointed.

I love those. Bought some from Aldi last month although they were called Frikadellen rather than with an R at the end.

Sherbet, I used to buy quarters of it. I haven't bought it since I don't even know if they sell it like that anymore.
Also, Sherbet Shandies - they were lollipop things on a stick and were yellow or pink. I loved them and would buy them all the time if I could find them still. I guess they don't make them anymore but they were delicious. |

I haven't had any penny sweets since I was a child. I did buy a box of cola bottles a few years back and made the mistake of eating half the box in one sitting. I don't know if it was the sugar or the chemical colourings but my head didn't stop pounding for a few hours.

Chips cooked in a chip pan with lard. Loved them when I was a kid but would probabaly drop dead of a heart attack if I had them now.
