Ooh I loved pink custard and school dinner chocolate cake.

My Granny used to give us that for our pudding with a half of a pear (out a tin) on top. Angel delight always seems to make my teeth feel all weird and grindy or something

Something else we used to have a lot when I was a kid was rhubarb, both school dinners and at home...........plain stewed or in a pie or flan

Everyone with a spare bit of garden or allotment used to grow it

You can still get rhubarb in the supermarkets but it's a luxury food price now............
