My mum always used to make me a special dessert on my birthday when i was growing up. I haven't had it since and I loved it. It was a cheesecake and it had a broken digestive base and a lovely topping. I think it was called a St.Clements cheese cake. Im sure you made it from condensed milk and of course lemons / oranges. It was truly the food of the gods.

This thread has certainly brought back some memories, not all good
![]() I don't eat meat now, so lots of things really. The one thing that sticks in my mind is bread and dripping [pork] with lots of salt, was blooming lovely. |

Ski (?) strawberry yoghurt where the 'fruit' bits were like bits of loo paper soaked in something unthinkable.
Variety packs of cereal including the much fought-after Coco Pops which sensationally made the milk go brown. Golden nuggets. Pink Panther chocolate bars. Very gloopy warm apricot juice in silver sachets with attached straws. bleurgh.
