My mum always used to make me a special dessert on my birthday when i was growing up. I haven't had it since and I loved it. It was a cheesecake and it had a broken digestive base and a lovely topping. I think it was called a St.Clements cheese cake. Im sure you made it from condensed milk and of course lemons / oranges. It was truly the food of the gods.

This thread has certainly brought back some memories, not all good
I don't eat meat now, so lots of things really. The one thing that sticks in my mind is bread and dripping [pork] with lots of salt, was blooming lovely.

Ski (?) strawberry yoghurt where the 'fruit' bits were like bits of loo paper soaked in something unthinkable.

Variety packs of cereal including the much fought-after Coco Pops which sensationally made the milk go brown.

Golden nuggets.

Pink Panther chocolate bars.

Very gloopy warm apricot juice in silver sachets with attached straws.
