Blonde one should've gone but I guess Biliana dug her own grave which was a shame as she seemed quite good.

Nah - he didn't like being talked over, and he didn't like being talked at, plus zero evidence of listening skills. Shame, she could have been a contender.

Scene: The Boardroom. Bilyana, Katie & Gabrielle are fighting it out

His Lordship Gabrielle. Why shouldn’t I fire you?

Gabrielle Because Lord Sugar, I was stupid enough to put myself forward as PM on the first task, and they always get fired. The producers have told you not to fire the PM on the first task this series, so I knew I was safe

His Lordship Quite right Gabrielle. Bilyana, why shouldn’t I fire you?

Bilyana Because Lord Sugar, I singlehandedly, at the age of 18 months, clawed myself out from beneath the oppressive bootheel of the Soviet Apparachiks, to become the youngest ever Bulgarian Tapdancer to perform in front of George VI, and I’m head girl, and I can do a Suduko (Hard) puzzle in under 5 minutes, and I can…

His Lordship OK, OK, I get the picture…

Bilyana …and I understand equations both the simple and quadratical…

His Lordship ENOUGH! Katie, why shouldn’t I fire you? Katie? Katie?? (where’s she gorn…) Well Katie, you leave me no alternative. You’re f…

Bilyana YOUR LORDSHIP!! Don’t fire me! I’m an amazingly tall Bulgarian!

His Lordship Do you mind Bilyana, I’m trying to fire Katie…

Bilyana Seriously Lord Sugar, if you fire me, you’ll regret it. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but one day, and for the rest of your life…

His Lordship Bilyana, if I hear one more word from you, you’re out that door. Do I make myself clear? Now then, as I woz sayin’, Katie, you’re f…

Bilyana GIVE ME ONE MORE CHANCE YOUR HONOUR!!!

His Lordship Bilyana, you’re fired

Bilyana What?? What did I do wrong?

I understand that Lord Sug might have been annoyed at her not knowing when to stop talking but, he's given people with this same problem of not shutting up a chance before, so why not her too. Of course I understand too that he might not want to fire someone before seeing if they can actually do anything (as was not obvious with the blonde girl) but still, Biliana already showed she had more about her than the blonde girl.

I'm suprised that Sugar didn't give her another chance and just tell her to keep stoom in future (as has done with the likes of previous candidates) because we've seen candidates calm down after a big ticking off.

Bilyana suffered from tunnel vision. It wasn't just in the boardroom: we also saw it in the task; when she wouldn't take it in turns to approach customers, and when she kept going in the wrong direction to find the shop. It's one thing to listen to your colleagues and reject their advice; it's another to not even listen. In the boardroom, she failed to see which way the wind was blowing and never identified Katie as a possible victim. She would not stop talking even when told repeatedly. So the right person was fired.

Gabrielle Because Lord Sugar, I was stupid enough to put myself forward as PM on the first task, and they always get fired.
Simply not true. The chances of a PM being fired are no greater on the first task than any other. And the PMs who don't get fired, tend to do well overall.

Still thought firing her has denied us some wonderful future moments as it was clear that the other girls detested her

There have been a few candidates in the past who have gone on talking after being told to keep quiet, but none have gone on doing it again and again after repeatedly being warned. It was especially crazy to start up again when he appeared to be just about to fire Katie.

The other girls detested her because they're all a bunch of jealous bitches. Horrible, horrible people and they all constantly talk over each other, have no time for other people, no listening skills are incredibly rude, like their gang style sales pitch in the shop. Wtf was that?!!

How could anyone possibly want to be in buiseness with them? Their arrogance makes them stupid and naive.

They're - both teams - in a (TV) competition and they know it. People do go further than they would normally do when there's a TV camera pointing at them. They also know Sugar would fire the quiet ones and the hiders.

I really don't get why they had to huddle together when selling in the zoo. Maybe the camera crew wouldn't let them? They did go over the top in that shop, though. I gasped when one loudly said "This is a waste of time, let's go!" while *still* in the shop. That was truly dreadful.

It's a shame that Bilyana did a Paloma. I'm not looking for a business partner, I'm looking for good TV!

The funny thing is, I likened her to Paloma before the boardroom debacle. She seemed quiet and friendly earlier in the task, but I remembered reading about her abrasive personality in the newspaper review. This got me thinking of Paloma, who started off friendly and ended up as that series main bitch.

Then, later in the same episode, she goes and gets herself fired with her mouth, just like Paloma!

But a large part of the game is walking around the minefield that is Lord Sugar and she starts with a language and cultural barrier that gets in the way, and he starts with an unwillingness to put up with anyone he finds annoying - regardless of how good they might be - assuming they don't have another nail file he wants.

Michelle, Kate and Zara could read him like a book. Clare learnt to get it right, Stuart and Katie played him till it went very wrong. Bilyana got it more wrong than anyone. Sadly she also managed to get it wrong without going OTT attacking anyone , and partly because she was so worried she was going home, she put in her final bid repeatedly - instead of articulating a pretty good case why she should stay.

I reckon LS was right to fire Bilyana - how could he possibly have gone into business with her - he couldn`t even have a sensible conversation with her for starters. He knew she`d always put peoples` backs up and doubtless never take responsibility.
