I bought some for my Mum on Mother's day - they are her favourite.

I dislike them myself I don't like the texture of them.

They remind me of my grandfather many years ago, he loved them. As for me, I loathe 'jelly' sweets! the worst one are the fruit shaped jellies with a liquid centre - their name slips my mind, something like 'new berry fruits'. My late Aunt always bought them if we were ill or when I went into hospital to have my three children. A box of those and a bottle of Lucizade that used to be wrapped in yellow cellophane.

2 nights ago [Tuesday]
I ate a full bag of B's Jelly babies [Originally bought several bags of these and several big boxes of their Liquorice Allsorts~ as my Dad enjoyed them very much ]
but ~I was again disappointed because the packaging makes them tempting ~BUT they are just
so soft' sweet and far from fruity flavoured

too soft textured bland , and too sweet for me

Yes, the B&M Store is definitely the place to go for value Wine Gums and Jelly Babies....

Compared to the local Sainsbury's where they cost £4, you can buy a 400g box of either for £2 in B&M.

I try and make a rule that I don't exceed 215g in one session, ie the equivalent of eating a bag, so I was somewhat ashamed to discover I only had about eight babies of my box left after last nights Midsomer Murders....

If I'd known I'd have saved the boxes up and given them to you!
I do love Maynards 'sports mix' & wine gums/ midget gems but can eat them due to my expensive mouth/teeth - if I chewed those all my dentist's perfecting would be out the door and a waste of £11,000! My husband would kill me!:

I won't buy them as I can't just eat a few, I have to eat them all & then I feel extremely sick.

Oh I love New berry fruits, haven't seen them in years. I used to nibble all the jell off & then suck the hard ball in the middle until it burst & I got the juice. Childish I know

I love Jelly Babies! I only allow myself to get them on very special occasions though - maybe twice a year, since they are super high calorie.

Our producer has a big jar of them on his desk. We're not allowed to touch them, though

Last bag I bought wasn't right. They were all girls. Boys are better value for money as you get that bit extra.
