I recall my above comment was heavily pooh-poohed by some FMs.
So guess who had the most losing BR appearances in this series?
Ricky, the winner.
boab34 also pointed out that Tom and Susan had the most losing BR appearances last year when the prize was an investment.
And who did LS end up investing in? Tom and Susan.
I rest my case.
As I said at the time, I think if it's a trend it's better for picking the winner than the finalists. None of the other three people highlighted even made the final 5, and none of the other three actual finalists had been in the boardroom at all when it was said (or other finalist if we're only counting the final 2).
Well everyone, I've just seen the final. I'm disappointed, but not surprised at Nick's departure, but you can't say Ricky didn't deserve the win.
I'd like to congratulate everyone on a job well done with the spoilers this year. Apart from the Week 6 Katie disaster, I think we've done a good job:
Week 2: Correctly called Sterling to lose and narrowed it down to Maria and Jenna to get fired - most of us picked Jenna, but still did a good job.
Week 3: Correctly called Phoenix to lose and correctly called Michael to get fired.
Week 4: Correctly called Sterling to lose and just about correctly called Jane to get fired.
Week 5: Mixed results, but the general consensus when the episode aired was Sterling to lose and Duane to get fired; all correct.
Week 6: Correctly called Phoenix to lose, but I don't think anyone apart from Sherlock foresaw Katie to get fired and even he didn't know when she'd get fired, but just in the next few weeks.
Week 7: Correctly called Phoenix to lose and we narrowed it down to either Jade or Azhar to get fired. I did say there were a few pieces of evidence suggesting Jade survived on the airdate!
Week 8: Correctly called Phoenix to lose and correctly called Laura to get fired.
Week 9: Our best week, imo - correctly called Nick to move to Phoenix, Sterling to lose, Ricky, Jenna and Stephen to be in the boardroom and Jenna to get fired as well as multiple task events and why teams won/lost.
Week 10: Correctly called the double firing, Sterling to lose and Gabrielle + Stephen to get fired.
Week 11: Correctly called Tom to move to Sterling, Phoenix to lose and Adam to get fired.
Week 12: Identified multiple pieces of information that indicated that Ricky won and Tom would get to the Final 2.
So, we did really well I thought - well done everyone!

I think the general consensus was that all the evidence points to Duane being fired but I refuse to believe that *laa laa laa* stick my fingers in my ears, they can't possibly fire him.

I must point out though that I was the only one who predicted that Duane was going in week 5, as everyone else was hedging their bets by including Azhar which was noted by capekdeh below:

Well, I did get it right that Duane would be a shock early firing (page 3 or 4 of this thread I believe) 
reminds of those who said that jenna/azhar/adam were going to be fired - they're bound to get it right ..... eventually lol
