Based on Hard Candy & now sadly MDNA (or "MDOA" as Chris Evans has labelled it) then you seriously need to get your hearing tested, as on the musical evidence available Madonna seems to have lost what she did so effortlessly for two decades to make great pop records, as she has become a "follower" and no longer is a "leader".

As for the answer to the question, a lot depends on the quality of the lead single, and streaming of the relevant artists new material but if they all released 7/10 albums then Gaga would win, but in the UK & USA she would get outsold by Adele, and certainly in the USA Taylor Swift would out sell her too on first week sales.
