Haley was definitely an exciting and raw artist last year. It was great to see her develop as the show went on.

Hey megsy, remember Laura White, well Erika reminds me a biit of her. Both of them great voices, both were booted! Wonder if changing Erika's hair style and colour made a difference, as there wasn't any need for that drastic change at this stage of the comp, unless the judges knew something was up.

Another week of Skylar, and hope she comes over a lot better than she has done.

Changing her hair was a mistake. She suited the wild blonde look much better.

Maybe the 'powers that be' stitched her up so that she was no threat to Elise who had a similar look and style.

She should have been like Colton and Phillip and put up some resistence to the 'fashionistas'

My dad said it was the change of image as Americans might not like that sort of thing. Ok Tommy was giving fashion advice but how many listened? Elise was told bell bottoms but wore a dress, Philip told no grey but he wore grey and I have no idea what they dressed Holly up in poor girl. I knew Elise's song and I don't know why the judges kept saying nobody would know and purely because I don't like her I would have voted her off.

A hybrid of Scotty and Will Young but better looking than both of them. (I always thought Scotty had a touch of Alfred E Neuman for those of you who remember Mad magazine)

I wondered that too. She looked better with longer hair IMO. They could have given her a more striking bob style if they wanted to change her image. The black hair was a bit harsh and actually made her look more ordinary.

Regarding Skylay - for me she is way too shouty. There is no tenderness in her voice at all and her tone is too harsh for my liking. Not sure why she's so popular with American viewers unless it's the country thing.
