Hello, and welcome to the candidate reveal for the Digital Spy Apprentice game, in which DS members compete in teams to see who will be crowned the next DS Apprentice! The DS Apprentice had a highly-successful first series last year, attracting tons of attention from forum regulars, and we're back for a second series that promises to be even more intense and competitive than the first. As the winner of the last series, I will be playing Lord Sugar this time round, and I can't wait to show the candidates what's in store for them.

In a few minutes, I'll be revealing the fourteen candidates who'll be attempting many grueling and high-pressure tasks over the next couple of months, but first off, I'd like to introduce the two advisors who will be following the teams throughout the process!

Firstly, returning from his fantastic turn as Nick in the first series of the game, it's the brilliant cheekypeter! He's participated in an insane number of games, but he's here to watch rather than win (which is very lucky for the candidates), and I know he'll do a stellar job!

My second advisor will be one of the candidates from last year (who did very well, getting to the interview round) and one of the game's co-creators - that's right, it's Tyjet! He played the role of advisor in the X-Factor Apprentice, and he's one of the most perceptive guys on DS, so I have no doubt that he'll tell me everything I need to know!

Now, it's time to introduce the fourteen DS members who'll be competing for the honour of becoming the DS Apprentice!

First up, it's I've Got Class!

Hello all, for those who do not know me, my name is Jess and I am 27 years of age and it is with my whole heart that I express my happiness for being given this wonderful opportunity to work with so many of you in what promises to be a fun, yet challenging game! Thanks to anactoria for organising this as well as accepting me, as well as thanking her assistants who I am sure will put there all into adding to the realism of Digital Spy Apprentice.

I believe I would be a good business candidate because I am a quick thinker, as well as using my initiative, and instinct in many situations. I also believe that I can be quite vocal, which means that I am unlikely to let my opinions fall under the radar, as well as giving me the upper hand when it comes to defending myself in the boardroom! These traits could be interpreted as being negative, so I would like to assure my fellow candidates that I am always willing to accept other ideas, as sometimes, you must admit that you are wrong!

My personal ‘motto’ would be ‘Think. Apply. Succeed.’’ These three words will be what I will do during the course of this competition, and I wish my fellow candidates the best of luck, as well as presenting them with my full trust.

Thank you ladies and gentlemen

The second candidate who'll be fighting his way to the top is Narutofan100!

My name is Adam, I am 17 and I am exactly what The Apprentice needs. The Apprentice was created to find someone like me : I have a natural flare of all things business, I am intelligent and creative : and I have a thorough knowledge and acumen of what is needed to be successful in life , which I doubt the other candidates will have. My business motto is aimed towards the other candidates,
'If you can't swim with the big fish, stay out of the water'.

That's a proper Apprentice bio! You've got to be confident and Adam here clearly is!

Great to see Louise back for a second go - really bad luck last time around!

The fourth candidate was one of the frontrunners in last year's X-Factor Apprentice, here to show us just what the LAS of that game missed out on - it's Satanel!

Good evening, my name is Zak and I am a sixteen-year-old male student who is particularly passionate about various foreign languages, which include Spanish and French specifically. In the future, I foresee myself living abroad for lengths of time, augmenting my knowledge to the culture and history of their linguistics. Whilst this categorical process may not require skills based around the apprehension of foreign languages, they are substantially vital in a business environment. Some may say that being young has its disadvantages experience wise, of course it does, but it certainly has its advantages as well. The ability to be creative and to ‘think out of the box’ is generally associated with a young person’s mind and that’s definitely myself included. I have absolutely no doubt that others are willing to ‘backstab’ and strategize their way through this game, but I feel I’m above that. I will go through this process honestly and with no regrets. I wish you all the best of luck.

The next candidate is new to Apprentice games, but definitely looks like a winner so far - it's Hutchy_Muse!

Name: John
Age: 16
I think because of my age people will be instantly dismissive of me. Sure I've no experience, but everyone has to start somewhere, and I'm keen to make an impact and make myself heard.

Five down now, and it's getting more competitive by the second! Next we have xKatieLx, one of the viewers last year - let's see how she does!

My name is Katie I'm 17 and I'm from Belfast, Northern Ireland. I believe I could be the next Apprentice as I'm intelligent, passionate about business, innovative and a good salesperson. My first word wasn't mummy it was money and people tell me the sky's the limit but if so why are their footprints on the moon.

Next, we have some serious competition with the runner-up from last year - will he do even better this time round? It's Carlisle156!

My name is David, but you can call me Carlisle. You'll probably know me best from being last years runner-up. This year - i'm doing things a bit differently. Last year I was called an array of things from a 'binman' to 'Mr hindsight' and using my prior experience I will definitely be coming back bigger, better and stronger this year.

In the past; i've won awards for being a public speaker - emphasising my confidence, i've also sold items back for profit in the school playground highlighting my initiative and drive for making money. I'm only 17 but I have proved in the past that I am worthy enough for a competition like this and this time I am not taking no for an answer. I'm fresh, i'm feisty and flilled with sheer drive to get the job done. I'm taking no prisoners in the boardroom - if you deserve to be fired I will say exactly that and in my teams I'm not going to let any slackers fall under the radar. You do work or you go home - it's simple as that in my mind.

The next candidate is a 20-year-old student from Italy. He didn't have time to send in a bio, but his experience with DS games goes back pretty far - he took part in DS All Stars in late 2010, and he was also part of the short-lived Strictly Apprentice from last year. It's the one and only 21stCenturyBoy!

Next, we have one of the most dedicated viewers from the last series, here to show all the candidates how it's done - it's haz_cat!

Name: Harry
Age: Under 16
Motto: Old men can make war, but it's kids who'll make history. (Ray Merritt)
About Me: I am not quite what it says on the tin. I'm not a book you should judge by its cover, nor by its blurb or the first few chapters. Though I may be one of the younger members of Digital Spy, I have proven my ability to work to the highest level, with the most skilled. At Primary School I was selling goods - I know a good deal and how I can get one. I've worked up to the highest possible levels in KS3 English, Maths, Science, French and Religion/Philosophy. If you look at my predicted GCSE and AS Level predicted grades, you'll see that anything other than an A or an A* is a rarity. I want to be - and can be the best. If I'm not getting perfect scores, it's a bad day at the office. I may be a youngster but I'm not doormat.

Only five spots left to go now, and the tenth spot goes to an experienced game participant who can't wait to add another notch to his belt - it's Amroussi!

My name is Daniel, but I prefer being called Amroussi. I applied to do the DS: Apprentice to show everyone what I can do. I work very hard in anything I'm given to do, I'm confident, organised and I think I have that spark that others don't have.

Obviously that's a slight typo on my behalf there - that should have been I'm not a doormat.

I'm glad to see haz_cat participating, especially since he was a prominent viewer in the first series!
