Recommend a video camera for £150 - £200?

Can anybody please recommend a good quality video camera for a reasonable price? I didn't ask the budget but I think sub £150.

I have self employed artist friend who wants to produce tutorial video classes. They will mostly likely be hosted on her website as a pay to view service in standard 'YouTube' quality. However another idea is to produce a DVD, which will naturally mean a higher quality camera.

Although HD isn't currently a consideration I feel that it may be worth adding if the extra cost isn't too high.

If possible it would need to be able to connect straight to a USB port for exporting to a PC for easy editing.

Thank you

You could go for a second hand HD camcorder but even something basic like panasonic SD60 still goes for £250 second hand.

No point in getting a HD Camcorder then only to make a standard definition DVD. Unless you have a BD player then you might aswell create an AVCHD disc to make the most of the high definition format in the first place.

If you do want a Camcorder with HD go for Samsung or Panasoniic.

Go for something like this. http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/panason...37786-pdt.html
