Was the right result Carolina winning & nice for her after so many disappointments over the years. Really pleased Leonova got a medal, she deserved it for her short programme. Interesting that Chris Howarth said she couldn't do a programme like her short for the Free skate as she couldn't hold it together for 4 minutes & get all the technical content in required.

He also said that Carolina has made her programme easier in order to win, well in so many words.

Personally I thought that Suzuki had the best programme all night, it was the only one I enjoyed. The rest had me yawning including Carolina and Leonova.

Yes Carolina didnt have a triple Lutz which is very unusual for the top ladies now - I dont think she'll get away with it world level (maye Europeans).

I really enjoyed Ashley Wagner's routine also.
