Wing it.
Buy in shortcrust pastry. I think the last time I made it I used two tins of corned beef. Equal quantities of potato (2 large) and one large onion. But you can half the quantities for a smaller pie and decide if you like it and then tweak the recipe. Boil the potato, half way through add the onion. When cooked drain and add to diced corned beef and mash. Add seasonings. S&P, worcestershire sauce and hot sauce for me. Also probably a bit of garlic. |

All you need to do is cook onions, red or white cabbage, butter beans, corned beef and potatoes with your favourite herbs and spices in a Le Creuset pot in butter or oil. When it is cooked, cover the top with pastry. Buy Just Roll shortcrust pastry if you aren't confident enough to make your own.
Tomato puree or tomato sauce is a welcome addition. Then cook in the oven. |

You've inspire me. Just been to ASDA to pick up some corned beef and pastry. I'll make it up tonight for snacking over the weekend
