Help, help, help...

...there's a song I've caught a couple of times on radio - but I've yet to catch the name of the band/artist who's actually singing it.

It's a weird duet I think - with a female and male singer. The male singer has a falsetto high pitch and sounds very 80s.

Can anyone enlighten me?

Answering my own question - after some more searching online - the song is: 'Somebody That I Used To Know' by Gotye (featuring Kimbra).

I was just going to say it could be that one, lol. It's been number one for about 5 weeks, I think. Good song. A bit different to the usual boring generic stuff that seems to clog up the charts these days, which is probably why it's been number one for so long!

What, number one in the UK? Right now? How embarrassing. I'm getting so old and out of touch 'wiv da kidz' I don't even know what's been number one for weeks. I hang my head in shame.

Yes, the current UK number one. Lol hey I'm completely out of touch with most of the chart stuff lately too, mainly because so much of it (the singles charts at least) are just so full of the same kind of bland generic dance music that I can't stand! But Gotye's song certainly caught my ear and I think it's one of the best songs around in a long time. I'm glad there's something worthy at number one for a change!
