My girlfriend loves still Fanta. The only place we can seem to get it is in mcdonalds.
I've searched supermarkets and even supermarket websites, is there anywhere you can buy it to take home?

I wasn't even aware it existed at all so I have no idea.

According to mysupermarket.com you can get it from the Asda in small 375ml bottles so I presume it will be in the chillers with the sandwiches & other snacks. Its priced at 81p.

Thanks for that I'll have a look. I do my online shopping at asda and had no luck last time I checked. I might have to go in if it's in the snack section.

I think they're phasing it out, they no longer sell it at one of them here in Huddersfield. If its to do with sales I think people just maybe don't know about it.
I have a hot drink when I go in but I have a bit of my girlfriends drink, it's nicer than normal orange juice that are similar but I just dont think people are aware it exists.

The first time she asked me to get her one I asked her if shes sure they sell it and not getting confused with robinsons or something lol.

To me it tastes exactly like Fanta when it goes flat, if it doesn't taste like to others then it probably isn't helpful but if it does then maybe leaving it a while would result in the same thing.

Haha I will mention this to her and see what response I get.
She's 5 month pregnant so if it earns me a slap I'm holding you responsible.

Well just in case you do get a slap, I have done a little search and found Fanta Still Tropical, but it isn't too cheap.

Link That is the best I can come up with sorry

I love it too.

Tesco used to sell large 1litre bottles of it. I did give it a go, but it just didn't taste the same as McDonalds.

McDonalds Still Fanta isn't the same as what you might be able to get in a bottle in a supermarket as like the "Starburst" drink you might occassionally see in a hot drinks machine, it is created from a powder and sugar water, made onsite by McDonalds staff. I don't work for McDonalds but knew plenty who used to when I was a high school leaver so I got plenty of my McDonalds based knowledge from them, including what I know about Still Fanta.

It'll be made from syrup and water...same as all drinks in the kinds of machines that McDs use. Only difference is that in Still Fanta there won't be CO2 pumped in too. You can actually see the syrup mixing with the water when you look at the stream coming from the machine. It's called "post mix" and it's why drinks from places like that always taste stickier than from a bottle or can.

I used to work in bars for years when I was a student and we used the same for those "gun" type drink dispensers. The syrup comes in 7L boxes that weigh an absolute ton and are maybe 40cm cubed. It really is an amazing amount of drink that's produced from such a small amount of syrup...about 45L from the 7L box and costs about a 10er to buy. Crazy markup!

EDIT: here you go...a box of postmix Fanta syrup...
