Joni Mitchell.
I bought "Blue" by mistake and ended up loving it. She's now one of my all time favourite artists. |

I bought Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill album on a whim & it turned out to be one of the best album's of the 90s. Pity the rest of her work didn't live up to it.

One Eskimo.
I was always gutted that Kristian Leontiou didn't have more success with his debut album in 2004, he kind of disappeared. Then driving home once about 1 in the morning, Janice Long played Hometime by One Eskimo and i recognised Kristians voice immediately. Thank you Janice Long

I bought a few albums back in 1994 just based on the artwork.
Ended up with Ogdens Nut Gone Flake by The Small Faces and In The Court of The Crimson King by King Crimson. Which was nice. I've never tried buying that way again as I might have used up all my luck that day. |

Jack Savoretti - Was a support act for a gig i went to a few years ago. Considering we only managed to catch the last two songs, i was charmed and have been a fan since. His debut album is stunning.

I came across his album "Between the Minds" on iTunes by chance. He really is a great talent. Love the song "Killing Man".

Sophie Ellis-Bextor - I was in Woolworths one day and they were playing Murder on the Dancefloor. I really liked it and I asked the staff what song it was and could I have a copy of it. Been a fan ever since.

Peter Kent (German schlager singer)-Discovered him on YouTube.
Joana Zimmer (German singer)-Also on YouTube. John Farnham-Only really knew of him from 'You're The Voice' but vocally he reminded me of someone else whom I already liked and this led to me wanting to know more. Khanh Linh (a Vietnamese version of Barbra Streisand)-Recommended by a Malaysian friend. |

Most of these are impulse buys rather than accidental!
Surely accidental would be Amazon sending you the wrong CD or something like that! |

Many of my discoveries have been down to channel hopping the free music channels on Sky and stumbling across something i've liked. Most of the other ones have usually come from listening to Zane Lowe
