Agreed. Very arrogant of ITV and completely missing the point, to try to influence the hashtags.

It was very annoying and just seemed like an utterly childish way of trying to get people talking about the show. Particularly "#hottie" whenever Sam came on - sort of indirectly brought home the message of The Voice. People should be judged on their talent, not on how they look.

Did any of ITV's hashtags trend?

I don't know what hashtag means but I loved the German chap, I couldn't breathe for laughing and I'm not exaggerating, I thank him for coming all this way to the UK and making my Saturday evening.

its obviously a ploy to get their acts trending, and lets face it, it worked lol
personally I think its clever, social media is now to play a huge part in tv, its a big part of what makes the voice in america and holland, and its good to see uk audiences incorporating it, as long as its not pushed too far
