I watched The Voice and recorded BGT, and watched BGT straight after fast forwarding through the adverts.

I am sure a lot of people do the same,and wonder how long before the advertisers put pressure on ITV for them to change the time slot.

We did the same at our house xD

I just think it is stupid for ITV to have a ratings war with the BBC when there main source of income is advertising.

I've actually never thought about it from that angle. It does seem illogical - I assume anyone who wanted to watch both The Voice and BGT would have recorded BGT for the simple reason of skipping the ads, and the filler. Even if there wasn't a clash, I'd have recorded it for that sole purpose.
