She carried Girls Aloud vocally, seemed to be the 2nd most popular member of the band, was generally liked by everyone has a terrific voice, great personality and potential.

Looking at the success of Leona Lewis, Universal the GA record company should have took her on at any cost and made her a priority, with the right songs potentially she could have been massive even internationally with the right marketing and image with it.

Then she gets this Geffen deal so not Fascination/Polydor and they rumor has it tried to force Jade Ewen's scrapped album which i admit has a few alright songs...but mainly not great on her to just re-vocal and release she disagreees, and the deal falls through. They should have agreed to let her co-write songs for it.

She goes the independent route....and joins with Tesco. She then decides to on her return to UK not contact any of the Aloud, and vice versa. Media start going against her. She debuts her single on radio two months before release WOW and then doesn't get invited to perform on XF or Strictly. the cheryl and her drama which is just cat-mouse game..and then she sells just 5,000 albums in week 1 despite signings and quite big promotion. Her single goes in at 26 and for what was a good ish song with a alright music video it's a flop. She does Sweetest High a year later and it goes unnoticed.

What went wrong.
And now she's doing nothing...not one thing. She just done this Top Model thing and that's it. When that group breaked i expected her to come back as a huge success story but she hired two suspectible people as her managers @bigapplebruce and @thomasmartinusa who have little impact or knowledge of the UK music scene. She only come round to the UK to do some promo for it and thats it and then flew right back. She seems more of a free spirit just releaxing now rather than doing shows...why isn't she on Strictly proving to people she has a personality and is a 'trier', why isn't she doing general stuff to get her profile up, endorsements etc

She always said she was a 'singer' and i believe her now thats all i can do she said. She didn't do ghosthunting or Passions and as a result missed out, she could have said songwriting and really got some links. Universal dont care about her....if they wanted just like will.i.am they could have hooked her up with someone like James Morrison to kick off her career but no.

And then there was talk of a USA launch and nothing except a wierd appearence in some nightclub.
She has lots of potential, and her songs where good just nothing amazing maybe sometimes its better to take someone elses song and sing that, nothing wrong with it.
Now no news of a UK or USA album anytime soon.

Whats her plan? What to reconcile with Universal and management and do an album after all the reunion is done and stuff is that it? The other girls have flourished!

i think she`s lucky to still have a girls aloud job considering her comments about her colleagues. it was highly hypocritical considering she recorded her later vocals in another country. the suggestion that universal should have taken her at any cost is laughable to be honest and i have no doubt the end result would have been the same. she`s a good singer, but not that good. she is pretty lucky `javine` didn't secure a place in the band, she was much better vocally.

she has little business flare and saw no value to the reality tv the other girls indulged in. unfortunately for her, the `passions` show in particular sealed most of the other members fate and the rest is history.

She was never 2nd most popular in the band - most fans disliked her. She was never seen as popular by the fans because of her attitude towards the band. Not turning up to rehearsals, not doing the extra activities the other girls did, recording her vocals in another country, leaving the Girls Aloud management and PR team in favour of her own, making catty remarks about Girls Aloud, missing big events etc

Not going Passions of Girls Aloud was the worst mistake of her career. Cheryl met will.i.am through the show - he produced her albums which have sold millions. He has her working with all these producers. Kimberley gained experience in Passions by being in a musical and she's now in a lead role with Shrek The Musical as well as other gigs. Nicola learned the craft of the make up industry and now owns a mega successful range.

She declined the record deal from the label Girls Aloud were on - then they offered the contract to Cheryl. No major record label would let anyone have full creative control on their first album. It's too much of a gamble. And if they heard some of her stuff that she put on her album its no wonder they didn't want her doing her own stuff.

She cancelled signings for her fans with no good reason - which upset her fans.

Her song was crap and so was the video. The album wasn't good either.

She returned to the UK out of nowhere, after spending years in LA to flog her album - many people weren't happy with that.

Thank god Girls Aloud are reforming. She must need the work.

I mean this truthfully with no alterior motives. Even though I always recognised Nadine as the lead and best singer in the band, I never took a liking to her.

I loved all the other girls, but for some reason I never connected to her. Plus, recently she has come across as really bitchy, which unfortunately has put mke off her for good!

OK. Tweedy X factor/US: Was Cowell's doing because he was enchanted and she got replaced by the lovely Scherzinger and was too proud to go back to the British version. LO'real Hair ads what an achievement. Isn't she supposed to be an artist. Shoes that bombed Endorsements because she was barbie of the month, that's been passed on. Mega career of miming bad dancing with no clothes on. Own Show, she'd need a translator and a personality to do that.

Nadine didn't fail her album was in the chart [ Tweedy could have offered her a XF spot, but strangely enough she didn't. The Boyzone tribute was something she did out of the goodness of her heart. She could have said no. She had a blast with Alan carr and people and the press especially are playing down ANTM, but Nadine should be proud of herself, it's a huge gig. she gets on with Tyra Banks and Americans will love her. Nadine's a girl next door type, she's adorable and she hasn't failed.

By far the best vocalist in the group (the only real vocalist)... but, shes too plain, too boring for the tabloid hungry UK market. She needs a good sex scandal to get her in the news.
