Divx \ MPEG Extenders eg Hauppage Media MPV Etc
All
I've got loads of MP3 and Divx \ MPEG movies as well as all the photes from my digital camera and camcorder footage all on my PC. My PC is connected to a router via Ethernet that sits onto of my STB downstairs and my PC is upstairs. I'm looking into getting a Divx \ MPEG \ JPEG device to hook up to my TV so I can access all the stuff on my TV. I was waiting for the MCE Extender to come out but that won't support Divx anyway and will be about £300. I'm thinking of getting either the Hauppage Media MPV which supports Divx and XVID with the latest beta Pinnacle Showcentre Or this device from Neuston http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=137815 Has anyone used any of these and got an experience with them or know of any alternatives. There seems to be a big difference in price and apart from a few more codecs i can't see what some of the extra money is buying. Any advice or reviews would be appreciated. |

Hi, I am using the MVP on a wireless network and this works fine, you can pump the music via tv or via hi fi (as long as the lead reaches), it plays divx providing you have the divx codecs et al on the pc and images are fine too, i particularly like the radio function, pretty cool box for 49 quid.....
