I love this woman! And this song too. Anyone know why it wasn't a hit? It fits into music now, it's lyrically perfect, and the intro is killer! Do we think Marina could explode globally with Electra Heart? I think she could with promo and airplay. I love Homewrecker, and Fear And Loathing, oh and Primadonna too!

Anyone planning on buying the deluxe of Electra Heart at the end of April?

I've pre-ordered the limited edition Electra Heart off her site, I'll be getting the Deluxe again separately and also the regular edition too. So I'll have the album three times.
I think the reason Radioactive didn't do better is because as far as I know she only performed it once on TV. I never saw it on music channels either.
I think Primadonna might do quite a bit better, I've seen it on TV about seven times this week, before this week I'd only ever seen her on music channels three times. So I really think that it could be one of her best selling singles eventually.

I hope it is. It deserved to smash (Radioactive) it's epic. I hope she has massive success, she deserves it.

Radioactive is a great song. Loving Primadonna, pretty sure this new album will be better than her debut The Family Jewels, which personally i didn't like too much.

I didn't like it either, this one seems far better and more cohesive.

I adore Marina, it's not just the songs. But she knows how to be a popstar so well, a very sussed woman indeed. Radioactive is my favourite song by her, it's fantastic. Why it didn't work though I think was down to lack of promotion and it being a massive step away from her previous material. It's not on the main edition of Electra Heart but on the deluxe, which is good enough for me.

If you like those songs you should check out Living Dead & Starring Role (both on the album). Both demo's are on Youtube and are brilliant songs. I've pre-ordered the deluxe edition, I can't wait for this album!

The album is sounding fantastic so far! Marina is an amazing artist and I'm dying for more people to see that. Maybe she's TOO beautiful and talented for some girls to get into, I don't know... Though Electra Heart as a concept is full of copious kickassery! Fear and Loathing is one of my favourite songs in ages.

Awh The Family Jewels isn't all bad. I like about 9/13 of the songs. I Am Not A Robot, Obsessions & Hermit The Frog I still listen to all the time.

I remember Marina saying something about how she felt Radioactive wasn't a hit because it was a summer song and it was released too late, in October. I think it's as good as her other material despite the difference in style.

Brilliant track, and Primadonna is good too. I'm waiting for the album preview before I preorder though.

I was thinking that today. It sounds like a summer hit. IMO, she should've put that out now, and then Primadonna in Early May with the album the weeks after. I love them both. Also, I bet it didn't get any airplay. *sighs* Capital are getting dangerously powerful.

That's another factor too, airplay. Marina will always get support from Radio 1 but I think at the moment she's not big enough to get a spot on Capital or whoever's playlist. Hopefully she'll have that breakthrough hit with Primadonna as Hollywood didn't quite do it for her.

Yeah. I hope so too. I wish R1 would A list her too. It'll help raise her profile. Bump Katy Perry down to C list and swap them

I love this song! Haven't decided if I'm buying the album yet though. I will listen to the previews before I decide. I love Homewrecker, Radioactive, Primadonna and Living Dead though

She'll climb in the coming weeks, they've A-listed all her singles so far (i think) so I'm sure this will and it's Scott Mills song of the week! Hope to see her go top 10 with Primadonna, it's a travesty she didn't with Radioactive, such a good song . The instrumental is great too. She's done another song with Dr Luke/Diplo/Cirkut called 'Lies' - which should be interesting !

The whole era should tbh. I really want her to get to 2X platinum status. I hope it rises too.

The Family Jewels sold around 200,000+ so I think with the right singles, Platinum is definitely achievable! Anything else is a bonus.

Yeah. Also, she'll be loaded hopefully, as she writes a lot solo.
