I always thought the guitar parts on the single version fitted it perfectly. Whenever I listen to the album version, I'm waiting for them to kick in. Album version isn't a write off for me, but it's the single version every time when compared.

I've still got my original Music for the Masses tour T-shirt, in fact I dug it out and wore it the other day.

Am considering ordering Ultra and Exciter next....maybe Playing The Angel too actually! been listening to songs from each and i love how different each of them are.

I really love that timelessness they represent...the way their material 1981 - 1993 really does still sound as strong today (even more so!) than it ever has for example....and that progression is represented in Ultra and Exciter i feel...must listen to more of Playing The Angel i reckon but i do love Precious from it!

But yeah...may go all out there

That is the concert... the documentary 101 is about fans on their way to the concert and is rather dull

I can't recall any of their names - I was that disinterested in them! The girls annoyed me more though, in particular the one who was showing Alan around their bus. I also hate them dancing to 'Nothing'

DM are, along with New Order, and early Pet Shop Boys, my favourite band from the 80s. My favourite album is Violator - it really is absolutely stunning, and 'Halo' has to be probably my favourite track by them.

I used to have all their albums up to & including Violator on cassette, but never got round to buying many on CD (just 'Music For The Masses and Violator so far). Not as keen on their later albums as they became too stadium rock for my tastes although some of their more recent material has been very good, like 'I Feel Loved' and 'Wrong' to name a couple.

I find that they get a lot more airplay on European radio stations than here in the UK.
