I love The Mode, I really do, but this album just fell flat for me. I didn't really find any of the tracks too memorable apart from 'Angel' and 'Soothe My Soul'. Of course, these are my initial thoughts; after a few repeat listening, some stuff may grow on me.

I just got the album. I like it a lot. I haven't heard a lot of their recent work so I don't have much to compare it to, but I'm enjoying it. It has an interesting combination of almost a bluesy rock feel with electronics. Some people have said they find it dark or morose, but I'm attracted to the darker side of things so I like that.

Dave is 51 today, so happy birthday to him!
