Just downloaded the two new songs from Katy Perry's Teenage Dream album repackage. I love both songs, especially Dressin Up. What do other people think of the new songs and do you think they will be future singles?

Dressin' Up is great. Listened to it a few times (in between MDNA!), but I wasn't too fussed on Wide Awake. It wasn't very memorable. I can see why it was left off the original track listing.

I love the acoustic version of TOTGA too.

I really like these tracks, Dressin Up was much more instant for me and I loved it after the first listen. I wasn't too keen on Wide Awake initially, it seemed a bit boring for me but after a few more listens it has really grown on me

I completley disagree. Wide Awake is a much better song, it has smooth synths and is basically a relaxing soothing song. As for "Dressin' Up" it isn't really profound enough for it to garner a lot of sales as it's typical Katy with a euro unwanted techno feel to it. Wide Awake for her next single (if she releases another single, which i hope she does)

Dressing up B-side bonus track comes to mind not much else to say really.

I love Wide Awake its a great synth ballad with heart and feeling and follows on nicely from Pearl, Who am I living for etc.

But in saying all that NO MORE SINGLES OFF TD move on katy we want a new album now

Wide Awake would be an awesome end of era single.

Although before WA, Dressin' Up needs to be the next single. It's perfect for the summer.

I like both songs. Dressin' Up would be a good summer hit and Wide Awake would finish off the Teenage Dream era perfectly before album three comes out.

Same! Not that I was particularly going to buy it as I have the first album and bought the remixed E.T. and Last Friday Night as they came out! I'll just DL Part of Me and Wide Awake and that'll be it all nice and complete for me. Dressing Up is okay but I don't want to spend a further 99p on what I personally think is the weakest of the re-releases.

Part of Me is such a solid pop tune, very summery and such a contrast to all those months ago when Teenage Dream was a summer smash single.

Wide Awake has a lovely production and another heart-breaker, I love how it shows the vulnerable side to Katy compared to Part of Me which shows her dealing with a break-up more fiercely. Would love this as a single/video!

Or just a thought instead stop dragging out this album and over exposing herself and getting backlash like Rihanna and gaga who has had to disappear and take time off and make a new bloody album just a suggestion

i mean a new album at the end of the year early next year yes please but take a break first do no follow your friend Rihanna the by word for over exposed but still i do love Wide Awake

Yes, Katy should continue as she is, resting and promoting Part of Me. I wouldn't mind if Wide Awake was the closing single though just for a powerful and moving video!

I'm ready for a new era from KP too but she shouldn't rush it. I'd much rather she took her time like she did with Teenage Dream as it really showed with how strong her album was.

Yes she really hit the mark there to huge duets then a summer smash and Teenage Dream to trail the album with Firework already hitting the airwaves was a perfect campaign for a great album.

So yes whilst wide awake i woudnt totally hate as a single still needs to move on

Both tracks are cool and far stronger than most of the tracks on 'Teenage Dream' I think 'Wide Awake' would be a better single choice, but 'Dressin Up' is much better, just not radio friendly enough to be a single.

I cannot belive she did not release hummingbird heartbeat thats a perfect summer tunneee

I love it too but it was one of the weaker songs on the album and im surprised at the love for Dressin Up i dont like it that much its a bit meh
