To be honest, I couldn't care less about their 'final pose', it's the fact that so many of them PROS as well as celebs dance off time during their routines that I object to.

In their elimination waltz Gavin Henson fell a whole beat behind making it very uncomfortable to watch/hear. To not draw attention to this Katya fell in with Gavin's strange waltz.

It is difficult for a woman to wrestle a man round the floor, hell it is hard even for a man to wrestle a woman. In SCD8 Natalie did rythmically wrestle Scott Maslen round the floor by the neck after he fell asleep and lost the routine, but in SCD9 Natalie did not try to wrestle 18-stone Audley Harrison. Plus Mrs Harrison had warned her, "No touchee."

I would love to go to this because I missed out on seeing Kara and Artem dance live on the Strictly tour last year because they fell ill on the London date that I went to However at the venue that's closest to me the date and time is not convenient for me......so it looks like I'll miss out seeing them again I wish there were more dates.

Have a great time everyone whose going............I'm really happy for you and I'm not in the least bit jealous

Saw the show in Ipswich last Tues. I thought it was great and it got a rapturous reception mainly due, as Kristina pointed out, to the presence of Robin who comes from Ipswich.

There was some disappointment felt by some audience members though, about what they felt was more music than dancing. But there were only two couples performing, and Kara did say at the start of the show that she was a bit rusty as she had only had one week's rehearsal due to the fact that Artem had suffered some sort of injury dancing in Vegas. Despite that I thought all four dancers were brilliant and gave it their all as did the musicians.

Frankly I was disappointed with some people's reactions especially the woman who shouted at the band asking if there was going to be any more dancing. That was the only part of the show I didn't enjoy.

Looks like some planned dance numbers were replaced by music because of aforesaid injury? Kara's fearlessness is legendary, and Artem is famous for getting injured. He was faster than everybody else by a mile in the botafogos contest. Could it be this gifted dancer pushes himself too close to the edge, so that every now and again he falls in?

I thought the whole point of this tour was that it was supposed to showcase the band with some dancers thrown in, as they are never seen during the actual tv show, being hidden under the stairs. And IMHO Artem is somewhat of a hypochondriac!

It does showcase the band from what I have heard.
They have made some adjustments since opening night and it seems to be going down a treat with audiences
And I would say Artem is far from a hypochondriac. He has been unfortunate with some injuries recently thats all. Happens to a lot of proffesional dancers and sports people.
But he seems to recover quickly which is good

Something exciting is always happening with Artem. With Kara he brought the West End Phantom into Shepherds Bush. In American Smooth he choreographed an absence of foxtrot steps which caused Len to award a 6 where other judges awarded 10, 10, 9. In Viennese waltz he introduced dancing out of hold. With Holly he brought Swan Lake to Strictly, then a paso visually the most stunning in Strictly ever. In Argentine tango his pioneered titillating use of a swivel chair, the only time a prop was applauded by judges. However in the charleston, costume and choreography did not suit Holly, and innovation backfired

If there is a fearless woman it is Kara. When two risk-takers paired up the result was dynamite. Kara in the Final showdance turned an unrehearsed backflip, the first time since she was 9 years old, and suffered an arm injury lasting weeks -- an injury which might have terminated her Final. Having had his neck injured lifting Kara, Artem when rehearsing with Holly put himself out of action for two weeks with an injury to what was at first thought to be his spine, then joint and soft tissue.

Gifted Artem boldly goes where no man or woman has been, but flesh and blood has limits. Gamblers have bad days. He is too brave for his own good. If I owned an insurance company I would not insure him.

He was also brilliant on the Strictly Tour as "straight man" to Nancy - without saying a word.
He is due a duffer this year - but I hope he gets someone who can do comedy. He would be brillinat with someone like Miranda Hart - although I would fear for the injuries !!

DTTM is getting rave reviews- great singing and great dancing. There are some wonderful reports on the Kara & Artem appreciation thread. No bias at all!

The pros find out on Thursday who is in and who is out, should be interesting.

In my (unbiased) opinion artem is the most creative choreographer on the show. I saw him perform on tour with Nancy and his comic timing was hilarious. It would be great if the SCD audience could witness that and dispel the image of him being a tough taskmaster who seeks perfection from his celebs (or maybe not). Yes, he has suffered more than his share of injuries. Obviously the BBC are prepared to insure him - the DTTM Tour being organised by BBC Worldwide.

I cannot wait to see the DTTM show

I agree, he is not a hypochondriac, but he does seem to be prone to injury - he seems to have picked up an injury in everything he has done so far. I just hope it isn't due to him having overdone his dancing in his younger years when he was still growing, as you sometimes see in professional sport. and that he is really fully recovered and pain-free and isn't returning to dance early, in order to fulfil this commitment. Otherwise, it could be a real problem career-wise, especially as it is his knee this time.
Glad people seem to be enjoying the show though.

I attended DTTM in Cardiff on Saturday evening.

Absolutely loved the show. Great mix of music with and without dance. The Dave Arch SCD band are brilliant; musicians and singers are world class and superb entertainers. As you can tell from my name. I'm a bit of a Kara & Artem fan. They were lovely, especially in the Viennese Waltz which is my all time favourite from SCD 2010. Kristina & Robin were stunning and did some incredible dances (especially Over the Rainbow).

I clapped so much during the show that one of my hands is bruised today. Definitely recommend the show .

Saw the show in Birmingham last night Bit heavy on the singing, like to have seen more dancing, and possible one more couple to share the load, but well put together show, enjoyed it.

Good song choices and the singers' voices blended well together. Thought Kristina and Robin's dance to the Eva Cassidy version of Over the Rainbow, very well sung by Tori Beaumont, was outstanding ,the highlight of the show. Kristina is an amazing dancer, she can act as well and she just becomes the dance when she does it. Pleased to see Kara dancing to Swan Lake.

I went last night to the Manchester Opera house and had a great time. It was lovely to see Kara and Artem dancing together again, their chemistry is still magical to me. Kristina and Robin were brilliant too. It was lovely the parts where they all spoke to the audience, it made it much more personal than the big arena tours they do.
One thing that really struck me was how good the singers are. I think sometimes the TV does not do them justice at all.
A really fun evening. Looking forward to the next one...

I bought a ticket yesterday and went along to Manchester last night. It was brilliant. From the moment they opened with Lance Ellington singing "Feeling Good" to the last song with everyone up dancing, I had a ball. Everyone on the stage and the seats were clearly loving it.
