So it's Mariah's 42nd birthday today, and her 22nd year active in the industry as well. We all know Mariah has released a lot of singles and albums over the years, but which is your favourite and why?

I'm a huge Mariah fan so choosing one is hard, but if I had to it would have to be "Someday", I just love the attitude to it and it's so catchy!
And my favourite album is Music Box, released on the day I was born funnily enough

Musicbox is my favourite from her. Just one of my all time fav albums and includes the best singles which are Hero, Without you, Dreamlover and Anytime you need a friend

Overall, Anytime you need a friend/Vanishing/Love Takes Time....I love them all LMAO! I really do, she is a legend. And she made quite a few bob too being a songwriter.

Best album, probably E-MC2. Much better than Emancipation. Got a soft spot for Music Box too.

Best single, Butterfly. I wish she would ditch the urban and return to singing some proper ballads.

Best album...Hmm, difficult, but I don't tend to skip tracks on the Emancipation of Mimi, and I'm also in love with her debut album. Her voice is just incredible on that.

Best single...We Belong Together. The ultimate ballad, and any ballad I've heard in the charts since seems to pale in comparison.

I loved her back in her heyday. She had some good songs, MTV unplugged I think was her peak. Its such a shame she cant sing aswell anymore.

my favourite is her début, one of my favourite début albums of all time and her output generally since then has been impressive. so many classic songs to pick just one track. although, i really love `my all` and the remixes to that track were pretty good too.
