Does any of you guys know if she has, to my knowledge she hasn't. There are rumours going around she will be doing a world tour but nothing has been confirmed?

She toured in 2007 with Marc Anthony in North America, but it was only 20 dates.

It's so absurd that she has never toured. From 1999 to 2003 she was one of the 5 most popular female artists in the world, yet she never pulled off a world tour. I wonder why. Her singles and albums were selling like hot cakes, why would her label be afraid to invest in a world tour? Maybe she didn't have any free time with all the movies, video shoots and promo at the same time? Or maybe it's about the vocals...I don't know.

Anyway, I hope she tours. She has a great catalogue of hits and she can get a crowd going

Why would you bother even entering a thread about an artist you don't like? Let alone start slagging them off. I just can't understand people. There really is no need to be so nasty, or to dispute other peoples views on a particular artist in such a cruel manner. This is a discussion about an artist and potential tours; it's not a place to just come in and abuse said artist in a non constructive manner. Fair enough you don't like her, but did you really need to post what you did?

Put it like this: why bother doing a world tour when you can do film roles that pay ten times as much and require 10% of the effort.

True. I think that before she got the job on American Idol, she didn't see her music career as her focus. It wasn't exactly a massive success, her albums underperformed while her singles did well. So a worldwide tour wouldn't have been too high on the list for her. But if she has a greatest hits coming soon it makes perfect sense to do one!

One note though, is she that big worldwide? I thought her music career was mainly successful in America, and partly in the UK. She has fans, yes, but I think most of them would be casual fans who wouldn't be too crazy about getting tickets. Selling out venues worldwide could be a challenge.

i think she's big in America of course but aint she big in Spanish speaking countries??? because she's a Latina especially in Puerto Rico
