I've been on Google for ages but can't find what I want. In around 1988 I bought a tape from Our Price on a whim because they were playing it over the speakers and it was awesome. Can't remember the name of the artist but it is a guy who is well known for doing soundtracks and kinda like David Holmes. The track was called, I think, 'Cycle Of Violence' and on the same album there was a dub reggae version of the 007 theme music.
The track itself makes harrowing listening to as it consists of a young female newsreader relating the newstory about a young black man being broken out of prison by a mob who then lynch him and set fire to him even while he protests his innocence.
It would have you in tears and I really want to find another copy if anyone can identify it
